Drove like a madman to get to the LOCAL in plenty of time to enjoy a local Tifton experience. Internet said it was open until... 9:30 pm and I arrived at 8:40 pm. Waited around to be seated and finally a nice young man showed up and told me they decided toclose early that night. I realize that Wed might not be the busiest time in downtown Tifton but I was very disappointed aftertrying to support a local establishment. Maybe next time but I am not sure I will be inclined to try again. Read more

The place was empty and we were turned away at 6:40 pm because their reservations were full. I explained that we just needed to... eat a nice meal and get back on the road. Walked away with the $100 bill I had ready to spend. Read more

We are here during an overnight stop while traveling. Took a chance and arrived without a reservation. Seated immediately.... Ordered the smoked fish dip app. TERRIFIC! I ordered a filet. My lady had the Catch of the day. Both were great. But my steakwas superior. Great crust outside and medium rare inside. Good service great food good wine. Read more

Very high quality dishes, but with a very limited menu. It is in the spirit of a "meat and three" southern restaurant. Excellent... crafted cocktails and bar menu. Read more

I heard great things about the food here and we tried to go on both a Friday and Saturday night. Friday they were closed for an... event, and Saturday the door said 'Closed until Wednesday'. We tried calling multiple times each day, but it just goes straightto voicemail and there is nothing on their message recording letting you know they are closed. Seems like the only way to findout is to show up and hold your breath. Read more

We were driving south and decided to stop for dinner. The ?house turned into restaurant? concept always intrigues us! Luckily we... were seated quickly without a reservation. However, our dinner took forever and threw us off our travel schedule. My husband hadthe ribeye ($52) and I had the braised pork shoulder. My dish was well prepared and very tender, served over mashed potatoes andgravy. However, my husband, who loves salt and routinely uses too much, had a hard time eating the overly salted ribeye. He wasactually pouring water on it to dissolve some of the salt! Such a shame for an expensive cut of meat. The server was sweet andapologized for the food taking so long to serve. We didn?t send the steak back since we had waited so long already, but didmention the salt infused steak to her so she could let the chef know. We would have preferred smaller meat portions with largervegetable portions, but realize that?s a personal preference. The dining room could use some acoustical tiles or other soundabsorbing materials, as the man in the table next to us was so loud we couldn?t have a normal conversation. Overall, a less thansatisfactory experience. Read more

ALWAYS excellent food. The flavors are paired well with one another. The shrimp and grits are my favorite. But everything is... delicious. Read more

A farm-to-table restaurant in Tifton!? I was very surprised to see this and decided to check it out. The menu changes often and... will have 4-5 main dishes and a variety of small plates, appetizers, salads etc. They also have a decent cocktail selections andmultiple craft beer options. Since I had walked in pretty close to their closing time, some of the main dishes like the beefspecialty etc. were all gone. I tried to seared tuna for my main dish which tasted very fresh. The presentation could have beenbetter but overall it was good. I will definitely revisit this place next time I am back in Tifton, hopefully go a littleearlier in the evening while they have more options available. Read more
