Great place to eat, friendly staff reasonably priced
Old fashion mom and pop kinda diner, with their booth style seating, long and narrow restaurant. These types of restaurant... and getting fewer and I love the ones that are still opened. Good value breakfast and well made, bottomless coffee and greatservice. A popular local spot. I went visit a friend in that town and had breakfast there. Not disappointed. Slow service, poor quality. My wife's omelette was good, but my food wasn't up to par. Burnt bottom on the pancake and ham.... Potatoes were good as well with the sausages. Be warned that the tomato juice that is included with 'The Brunch' meal is sizedfor a child. Also the tin taste from an opened can left a copper after taste. Our server had little to no personality and wehad to politely ask multiple times for coffee refills. She never once returned to ask how our food was or to even give us thebill. I want to believe that it was just the booth we sat in as other areas seemed to get better service. I'm hoping it wasjust a bad day at the diner. Read more
