This was my 1st time at this location and I will more than likely never return. I had ordered an 8pc meal 1/2 regular 1/2 spicy... (asked for them to be packaged separately) with an 8pc nugget add-on (coupon advertisement), I waited 15 minutes for them tofull-fill my order, and when I got home my chicken was all original, I received only 6 out of the 8pc nuggets and was given thewrong dipping sauce. 2nd chance Update ? Delivery was missing 1/3 of our order ? called in and owner was very dismissive? had to call DoorDash to... redo the entire order when they could have just fixed it. Took over an hour to resolve a simple issue. Thought we?d give themanother try ? paid extra for 4 breast, got 1. Ordered 2 Mac n cheese , got potatoes. Didn?t even bother to call the restaurantthis time, DoorDash jut refunded the majority of our order. We are done here. Read more

Had the spicy chicken sandwich and fries. Very fat juicy chicken, nicely spiced, great crispy fried, tasty pickles, nice fresh... bun. Fries were tasty as well. Thought maybe the fries seemed a little small but maybe the box was just too big, because it wasa filling meal with the size of the chicken! Waited a bit on the chicken but it was busy, especially for a Wednesday evening! Nice seating area inside and out, clean everywhere, friendly employees. We will be back!! Read more

I have received an email from corporate, from the franchisee and a response to this review. I will move this to 3 stars from 1... for now as the honesty and promptness to my statement gives me hope of improvement, they are new so they deserve a chance to getthis right. I am leaving the original review below for now. Been to Popeyes elsewhere many dozens of times at locations allover North America for many years and never once had an issue with the food - until now. Popeye's has been a family favouriteand we have had to drive 40 minutes to the nearest city form home just to get their food. Now with this location opening inTillsonburg they're just 20 minutes away, However... Been to this location twice: 1st time the customer service was quite subpar. Also this was the first time our Popeye's leftovers were not finished as we found the chicken had tasted 'different'. 2ndtime, tonight, we travelled the 20 minutes (each way) to specifically get Popeye's. Horrible experience. From having a 10+minute ordeal to having a simple purchase change to the disgusting tasting chicken sandwiches and fried chicken. This is slightly rancid oil or chicken that has started to turn. We can't even eat this food. All four of us concur, this is garbage. Wehave a box of chicken here to send to their Head Office or elsewhere for analysis. We are all feeling queasy from what we ate ofthe sandwiches and the chicken pieces smell completely off. After the ridiculous ordeal we had dealt with already just gettingour order, and the fact we were already a few miles away when we realized the food was no good, I opted to send a message to thehead office of Popeye's. This being a franchise we'll see what happens. Everything I see written about the managers here isseemingly dead on - in fact, it appears that all the people at the counter have a tag that says "Manager". Read more

On July 5 in Popeyes for lunch the food was given to me,by being tossed on counter. Like the manager Kim didn't care at... all...fries box was on its side and the fries were not in the little bag but all over the box not very appealing..Hope she don'tdo that again.. My first experience with Popeye's. The chicken is very good. The coleslaw is excellent. The red beans and rice is terrible: dry,... mealy beans under dry, mealy rice. Very disappointing. I wonder if ingredients were missing... can they really expect customersto enjoy that? Friendly, efficient staff. Fast service, but I doubt I'd go back - consistent quality across the menu isexpected. Read more

We called for a takeout order at 8:30PM , pickup at 9PM on a Thursday night. We have been waiting 20 minutes. Three employees... are sitting in the dining room socializing and another employee is in line buying food. I understand it?s new and you aretraining staff. However, staff members sitting down in the dining room socializing should not happen. We would not come back! Read more
