Stayed in the chalet and it was just ok. Its not worth the 2 night minimum costing $800.00 as there is nothing special about it.... Run down and old looking inside and dirty. Furniture felt like they got everything at a garage sale. Stayed next to someone whosupposedly lived there and their barking unleashed dogs kind of ruined our stay. I feel at $800.00 a 2 night minimum some typeof perks should come with it. Never again Read more
Our first time at Cedar meadows. We loved the grounds, the animals the overall feel of the place. The beds were comfortable, we... had a n jacuzzi tub and fireplace in our room. (We did not use) We stayed one night and, took advantage of the Nordic spaattached to the hotel. Was a great place to stay and relax. We would definately go again if out that way. Read more
The groundskeeper and wilderness driver was polite and kind. The hotel staff was friendly as well. I really enjoyed the... wilderness tour. The animals seem well kept and it's a great opportunity to get close to some beautiful wildlife. I wouldrecommend two buckets of feed because there was a bit of congestion with only one. The room was spacious but had a bit of anodor (we aired it out and sprayed it so it was fine). The Nordic baths and sauna were fantastic. I loved it. Worth the drivefrom Toronto! I did read a review saying that the hotel hallways were dark which I thought was an exaggeration, however it isdarker than I expected. The restaurant food was good, we tried the chicken Ceasar wrap and it was fresh, quick and fantastic tobe honest. The masseuse was polite and inquisitive. The massage was okay, I'm used to RMT but it was still nice. It was a greatgetaway but it is a spa so be mindful of bookings/ prices ?? hoping to go back next year! Probably used to be a wonderful place. It appears that it has reached its peak and is going downhill. A lack of attention to... detail by the staff. Things are expensive there. Rooms are nice size. The bathroom does appear to have been updated recentlywith modern features. Read more
toilet was dirty, dosn't flush right,, no elevator had to struggle to get baggage up, to a hot stuffy smelly hall, forget about... room service to clean , we had to take our own garbage down, we were there 3 days , definitely over priced! Positive note, thegrounds were clean and tidy, staff were friendly but not many there , so either hire more for room service and cleaning or shutsome rooms down so they can handle the cleaning to do it properly, over priced gor what you get Read more
Hi all, I stayed 2 nights in room 126 which is next to the spa. My stay was excellent. I was greeted by Riley & Jeannine. They... are amazing and very helpful. At the bar I was served by Sean, Lindsay & Lisa and again great service. I enjoyed the 10oz steakso much that I had it on both nights. At the spa I was greeted by Jacinthe who was extremely helpful in explaining the processand what to do at the spa. Thank you all for making my stay quite comfortable. Read more
Stayed for two nights in one of the suits. The room itself was clean and well kept. Bed was a little lumpy and the table a... little wobbly. Had a nice fire place and jacuzzi tub, the shower had two shower heads which was really nice. The spa servicewas excellent. Customer service was great, the massage therapist was professional and very good. We were lucky enough to bethere during a slow time, which resulted in us being the only ones in the Nordic Baths. It was a fantastic experience. Relaxingand intimate. Pools were clean and the spa was very quiet. Ordered room service for breakfast, wasn't very warm. But wasdelivered within 10mins. Very quick service. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious, the presentation of the food was nice, andamazing customer service from our waitress. Enjoyed the Gin Fizz beverage very much, and I really recommend the artichoke dip. Read more
