Simply delish! Make your reservations ahead of time as the end of the week dinner times can book a week out. Low top tables are... typically closer to the windows which they open on beautiful days. Incredible appetizers. We ordered 3-4 apps each meal. Thehomemade chips & dip- YUM. But the deviled asparagus toast is beyond tasty. Nice selection of adult beverages. Good assortmentof main dishes with a pick your protein/sauce & sides option too. Easy to park. We noticed a fellow guest was accommodated intheir wheel chair too. Perfect views of the bay. We even saw a wedding take place on the dock outside the restaurant. And lastbut not least... Great staff. Go and enjoy. Read more
Love this place! We come here every time with a large party before Newport Polo game. It’s a no rush place. So chill. So... beautiful. Food is great! Management and hosts are helpful. The time slows down when I come here. I love the way the bar isin the middle and tables are next to open windows which overlook the water… ??????. Make reservations way in advance. Read more
Excellent dining restaurant specially if you’re looking for one to surprise your love ones, great view and a magical sunset... ????. My seafood scampi was 5/5 good flavor and huge portion I wished I could had more “seafoods” but it’s ok. The paellawas very good too, a huge portion of rice and seafood. Pd: I forgot to take picture to the clam chowder “hall of fame” it isa must to try. Definitely I will come back soon. Read more
Lovely location on the water, with amazing views from just about any table. The open air restaurant was simple elegance. I... loved the atmosphere. We arrived about 6:30pm for a gorgeous sunset dinner. We walked in and were seated right away. Nexttime, I'll call for a reservation and request a table for 2-4 alongside the water. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. We enjoyed the shrimp cocktail and a cup of chowder for appetizers. For entrees, we ordered the statler chicken and the fish &chips (chips substituted with a Cesar salad). Read more

Kim and I decided to swing through Rhode Island on our way home from Maine and were not disappointed. The Boat House has... spectacular views and incredible food. Our server Christen was exceptional.
