We ordered the coquilles st jacque thinking it was an entree with sides. What we got is 4 small scallops that looked like 2 cut... in half horizontally and sauce for $27 each! Nothing with it! We spent $58 on an appetizer! When you see the other entrees onthe menu they come with sides. When my husband picked it up it weighed almost nothing so he looked in the bag and foundcontainers that could hold burgers. He asked about it and they said that is it. He asked for some bread at the least and theycharged him for it. The scallops arent even that great. I have had better. I just wish I could include a photo. Read more

Charming outdoor bistro. Reminded me of Paris bistro cooking. We had the pate de campagne, onion soup, canard de confit,... coquille st jacques, and creme brulee. Everything was very good. The onion soup was lighter than some, in that it did not usea beef based broth, though the spicing was perfect. The canard was crispy with green peppercorn sauce over frites. Yum. Thecreme brulee was close with the cold/warm contrast of the carmelized top vs. the custard, but the custard was a bit overdone. Still, it was delicious. Very surprising. BYOB. Read more

As a French person, I was delighted to find a restaurant that had canard confit and magret on the menu. The first time we... ordered from Plouf Plouf at the beginning of the season, we were very happy: The confit and magret came on a bed of a deliciouspuree with a side of ratatouille and the portions were generous. Yesterday we ordered the magret again, and were sorelydisappointed. We didn't have the whole magret, just 6 tiny slices of it, half of which was the fat, and there was no puree, noratatouille, just the potatoes. The sauce was as good as ever, but the portion was very meager and the magret not of goodquality. It wasn't worth the $30+ that I paid for it. That's my last time ordering from Plouf Plouf. Sorry to say, but French onion soup tasted like warm water with a bay leaf. The $32 cheese/meat split I?m sure was packaged from... market basket. My baguette was burnt black. People in this state do not know good food. $100 meal not worth it. Read more
