Cute little Mexican spot with a great vacation-y vibe. A little over-priced though, $7 per taco and $8 for shrimp tacos. But I... will say the shrimp taco is amazing! This is THE best place to eat in Tobermory. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner there. The hangover burrito was soooo good,... with pulled pork and potatoes so flavourful - perfect before heading to Lions Head for a long hike. We got sandwiches packedperfectly for lunch and then went back for dinner. The shrimp tacos are so perfectly cooked, fresh, pops in your mouth. Thefish taco is grilled and again super delightful. I tried the jackfruit taco and you could barely tell it wasn't pulled pork! They do takeout and have colourful picnic tables out front to eat on. If you?re ever in Tobermory then Las Chulas is the place to go to! Our search for coffee brought us here one morning and I kid... you not they literally have the best food in Tobermory. We went to all the other restaurants as well and they don?t even compareto what the wonderful ladies at Las Chulas are serving! The breakfast sandwiches are to die for, we had no expectations goingin but we were so pleasantly surprised! The breakfast sandwiches here hot and freshly made and the coffee was delicious aswell! My absolute favourite however has got to be the shrimp tacos. The shrimp was fresh and so juicy! We also got the porktacos and that was packed with flavour as well. (Oh, we also got the chicken pesto sandwich and that was pretty good aswell) The ladies running this place are gracious and friendly! The food is quite delicious and authentic. We had a smoked salmon bagel, Birria Tacos, La Paz chicken tacos & quesadilla, and... Aloo Masala tacos. Overall it's fantastic & the service is excellent. The only downside is that the portion is relatively small.Each adult may need to have more than three tacos (at least 23$ without tax) for a proper meal. Read more
