What a wonderful find! While visiting my father in law in Toccoa GA, my wife and I were looking for a place to get a bite to eat... and something to drink. We found R & R and were so impressed we brought my father and sister in law back for dinner. The appswere great, and the main entrees were huge and oh so delicious. Our server Valerie was great and friendly in the afternoon andSuzie in the evening was polite, friendly, knowledgeable and quick. Danny the chef came out to make sure my tomahawk pork chopwas cooked correctly and it far exceeded my expectations. The owners are sweet and also concerned that every guest leavessatisfied and happy. It?s worth the drive from wherever, so if you are tired of all the chain, fast food restaurants, by allmeans you need to stop in. Very reasonably priced as well. Read more
This place was pretty good, but not off-the-charts. Proabably closer to a 4.3 than anything. Tacos were good. My side of... collards was OK, but I would recommend the carrots instead. Spacious dining room. Plenty of free parking by using the backentrance. Service was really good. Craft beer available. All the pieces are here to have a great restaurant. I will try thisplace again. The service and food were fantastic. The appetizer sampler was a delicious variety of appetizers. My chicken sandwich and side... cesar salad hit the spot with a fresh and homemade flavor. Don?t get me started on the spiced rum cake it was to die for. Iabsolutely love the service I received our waitress was sweet as can be and took care of us. Had dinner here Friday night and it was such a memorable experience! We first started with the prime sampler. Some of the best... appetizers all put together! I inquired about the pimento cheese because it was the best I ever had and was told it was theirown recipe MADE FROM SCRATCH! Who cares enough to do that anymore? THEY DO! Next course was a scrumptious house salad. Afterthat, a fabulous filet cooked to perfection with a loaded baked potato. To finish off my meal, we split a slice of snickerscake! Yum! Lastly, can?t forget my Tiffany Blue Martinis which I couldn?t get enough of! We will definitely be back! Read more
My husband and I went to R & R for dinner last night. We were seated right away in the bar area in the back of the restaurant.... They have done an amazing job of fixing the place up! The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The bartender Suzy was ourserver. She was so kind and accommodating. We each had a couple of cocktails while we waited for our food. For dinner, myhusband had fish tacos and tater tots. He loved the fresh jalapeños on the tacos. I had the 8 oz steak and pimento cheesegrits. Everything was delicious! For dessert, we shared the Kahlua cheesecake. We will definitely be coming back soon! Read more
I snuck in mid-afternoon while it wasn't busy, and had quite possibly the best burger I've ever eaten! The Rampage Burger... paired with sweet potato fries was absolutely delicious! If I ever find myself back in Toccoa, I will have to dine here again! Read more
