For what it is, it’s alright and one of the more unique places in tofino. I am disappointed that they didn’t mix in the... protein of choice into the batter, but opted to put it on top – a way to make it easier for them to customize what protein toinclude, but it doesn’t result in a melding of flavours into the Okonomiyaki pancake.\n\nI would say if this was in MetroVancouver this would be 3 stars at best, but alas your options are limited in Tofino Read more

We ate it all!!!! Kimchi okonomyaki, takiyaki, and fried chicken! The okonomyaki (cabbage & carrot pancake) tasted great.... Everything tasted great. The fresh brews from the Tofino Brewery made for a perfect pairing with this japanese street food madein a little retro trailer. So good on a colder fall day before a hike along the beach. Read more

Super find in Tofino. The beer and Japanese street food pairing is delicious. If I was an exhausted and frozen surfer I would be... making a bee line here. The fried chicken and the pork belly poke bowl deliver as other reviewers have noted. The best beers inmy books are the Ether, Spruce and the moon cider. Read more

Wow. We wanted to go to Tacofino but the line was over an hour wait so we found this high rated gem nearby. I was so thankful we... ended up here because this food was AMAZING! The okonomiyaki rivals the one I had in Japan. It was so delicious! The squid gyozawas not what I was expecting but also a pleasant surprise. We loved our meal here and highly recommend to anyone visitingTofino! Super conveniently located next to the Tofino Brewing Company so you can enjoy a beer while you eat. Read more

Amazing food and super friendly service. Great concept!!!\n\nStopped in for a quick dinner and had the prawn okonomiyaki... pancake, fried chicken, and pork belly rice bowl and the food was absolutely delicious!!!\n\nOnly thing I will note is that thisfood truck is located on another businesses property, therefore there is zero seating unless you\'re having food and/or drinksat the other establishment, so keep that in mind when ordering. Lovely little place. The menu is simple, the food is great, the service is great, the owners are invested in the community,... supporting indigenous nations, & paying living wages.\n\nThere are so many reasons to eat this food & support this business. Idon’t even need to mention the fact that you can sit at Tofino Brewing and enjoy it… but it’s a great setup.\n\nGive themall of your money. It’s an absolute gem of casual Japanese diner favourites and they are great people. Read more

So cool to have authentic Japanese food in such a remote location. We ordered almost their entire menu. Then stopped in at their... neighbors Tofino Brewing for a sample flight of beer. Read more
