They lied to us!!! Spent several thousands over past 3 years. Told at 8:15 pm the sushi chefs are short handed and not seating... anymore customers. Closes at 9pm. We called to order take out to determine if ?sushi chefs were short handed.? Yes, they werewilling to accept my take out order for 7 different sushi rolls. Dishonesty is very sad. Read more

Best sushi in town, with a price to match. However since COVID the store has completely changed. Half the tables were removed in... favor of a massive takeout table for online orders. Now this isn't inherently bad, but now the wait is ridiculously long, andthey don't take reservations. I'm not paying almost $20 a roll without the atmosphere and service that comes with it, and I'mnot waiting a minimum of 30 minutes for seating. The hours are already squeezed right up to the dinner rush so unless you getthere before 5pm you will be waiting. I used to love this place but it seems greedy decisions were made in the wake of COVIDand I'm not about that attitude. They used to have a 4.8 rating which has been dropping slowly for a year now. Kyoto Ka andTougen have food of similar quality, just a hair short and a lot cheaper per roll, no wait at Kyoto Ka and about $5 cheaper, $7cheaper for similar food at Tougen with a wait. Read more

We had a 15 minute wait before being seated (but they did call to let us know). The wait staff seemed busy and we were left with... just menus for more than 25 minutes. But after that, service and the food were flawless! The sushi and sashimi were perfect aswell as excellent calamari. Our waitress was attentive and even brought over club soda when my aunt got a little sauce on hershirt. Sake cocktails were also very tasty. Read more
Started off with a couple of drinks at the bar since there was a wait on a Tuesday evening. Bartender was friendly and the... drinks were fantastic! When we were seated, the server seemed hissy that we weren't prepared to order. We were in town visitingand hadn't seen our friends in nearly 2 years and were enjoying each other's company, but the server made everything feel rushedeven though we were still enjoying our next round of drinks. My all time go-to for sushi in Toledo! The BEST in town. High quality food and can?t go wrong with anything on the menu!... Calamari appetizer is like no other restaurant we?ve tried, absolute favorite. Highly recommend sashimi & nagiri and theserolls: KC, Galaxy, Puma & Pheaonix. Read more
Tldr: Food was great and service was impeccable. We stopped here on our drive from NYC to Chicago, and the first place we... stopped at put us on a waiting list and after 30 minutes we gave up and ended up at Domo sushi instead. We are so happy itworked out this way because this place was fantastic. We had a couple apps, the unagi bowl and some rolls and nigiri andeverything was fresh and delicious and the rolls didn't fall apart when trying to eat. Icing on the cake was the complimentarydessert for their anniversary which was a nice surprise. As good as the food was, the service was equally good.
