Everything about El Tipico was fantastic! The service was great. We were met with smiles and helpful suggestions. A nice... atmosphere to enjoy our dinner. The food was great. Very fresh and visually appealing as well as very tasty. The salsa couldn'thave been fresher and really went well with the fresh and light chips. When our dinners arrived they looked so good. Being celiac I hesitate eating out. A google search lead me here and I am so thankful! Dina the owner came out to talk to me,... which was a wonderful touch! This place is a real hidden gem. I dont think I can even think of anything slightly bad to say. The food was absolutely... unbelievable. The beef tips literally melted in my mouth. Be sure to make a reservation. I came a few months back and couldn'tget in on a Thursday evening. This place was worth the wait. Will be back 10000%. Absolutely shocked by how good this place is. Today, I went to El Tipico and am in awe of the welcome and care we were given at the restaurant. A member of my party has... celiac disease and they went above and beyond to explain their menu and to make sure their food had the highest standards. Thefood was absolutely delicious and they gained my deepest respect and made me a loyal customer. I cannot wait to go again. Read more

We had a large group and they accommodated us without much notice. This was our first time but we went off the star rating. I... was surprised and pleased with the organic and healthy options including non-dairy cheese since I am lactose intolerant. Mychimichanga was so delicious and had so much chicken! I lived in Los Angeles for five years, and would frequently travel south to Baja California, Mexico. I'd dine in the little... towns, which gave me the experience to identify and appreciate true Mexican cuisine. El Tipico is the real thing, and that'shard to find. What I liked best about El Tipico is the simplicity of fresh ingredients prepared just for you. They are clearlynot mass-producing food and reheating it. Nor are they merely piing on some ketchup-"salsa" and calling it Mexican. Irecommend experiencing it. Just be advised, it is likely quite different than what you are accustomed to.
