Food was truly out of this world good. I got the pick three meats and two sides combo with ribs, barbecue beef, and... brisket. Ribs weren't like fall off the bone style, do don't expect that, but they were nice and tender, plenty juicy andtender and lots of flavor. Barbecue beef was... Wow... Honestly i don't have words... It was excellent. The brisket I willwarn you: this brisket is TRUE brisket. Brisket is a cut of meat that is actually quite tough because it comes from theabdominal area of the animal, but many times when people or restaurants claim they're serving "brisket," they're actually not.Brisket should have almost a snap to it when you bite a piece off, kind of like jerky. Now it's not DRY like jerky, in fact,this brisket is quite tender (as brisket should be). Just be aware that this is TRUE brisket, and if you're not sure whether ornot you've ever had real brisket, be cautious about ordering this because it's probably not what you think or imagine due to thepopularization of brisket in recent years. The food quality was excellent for its price point as well, and the quantity alsodid not leave me disappointed. I wouldn't say the quantity is generous, but you feel as if you got what you paid for. Mac ncheese here does include corn in it (delicious, try it). Also, the brisket and barbecue beef is served on a piece of texastoast. Everything about this meal was incredible. I have Been a Famous Dave's customer for the past 6yrs. I travel for work and tend to order out consistently. But in the last... few months my consistent order of Rib Tips Platter has Been consistently, absolutely, inedible! Just awful!! I have orderedfrom a Michigan site; Ohio site and an Indianapolis site, each carry out order has been horrible, and worst than the other!!Greasey, Stringy, extremely overcooked and just not freshly prepared. The food was so disappointing. The brisket was all fat, the potatoes were cold, the chicken tasted like pure vinegar. I will not... go back. The only positive was the cashier, she was nice and tried to do a good job. She should go work at a better restaurant.Good workers deserve better. Read more
I took my daughter here for her birthday dinner. I will not be going back to this location. I understand short staffing and... busy. But we were the only ones here. And only 3 carry outs while I was there. The food was cold and not cooked all the way. Andonce we were seated no one came and asked us if we needed anything. Would not recommend this location. Staff is friendly but check your order before you leave if it takeout. 2 times they got it wrong for me. As for BBQ, it tastes... like fast food BBQ, but it's better than a burger (cost much more to). All 3 times I ate there whether takeout or dine in, thefood is dry like day old reheat. Read more
We went here for MY GRANDSON'S 3RD BIRTHDAY ???? ???? ???? ???? I stopped in for lunch while in Toledo visiting from out of state. Great food, I had the Georgia chopped pork sandwich. Great... flavor and definitely tender. I sat at the bar, I believe the gentleman that waited on me was Ron? Great service, I definitelyrecommend and will be in the next time I'm in town. Read more
