Their food is gross now. My chicken teriyaki literally tasted like nail polish remover and I cannot believe the workers thought... it was okay to serve something that awful. I took two bites and had to throw it out. The containers always leak the juices ofthe food, which is not a big deal, but the fact my chicken had such a chemical smell is disgusting. Their food was not good years ago and their food is still not good to this day. After years of not having their food since they... were not good before, I expected to see a change of quality. The thing is, the quality changed for the worst. I ordered thechicken teriyaki, which is the entree they will cook on the grill for you. I chose this entree because I do not trust foodthat's been sitting on a steam table for hours. Anyway, the chicken teriyaki was unfulfilling. The chicken seemed cookedbeforehand, the sauce lacked flavor, and the rice was definitely old. It was not a pleasant experience for me. It seems therewas no "love" in preparing the food and that is a red flag for me. Hours after of eating their food, it was not sitting well inmy stomach. I felt sick all day and just wanted to throw up, but couldn't bring myself to do so. That being said, I do notrecommend this restaurant. If possible, just go to Magic Wok a few stations over. P.S. I also want to mention not ordering thebeef teriyaki as well. My mother ordered it and it honestly looked like gray, mucus-y vomit over a bed of rice and vegetables.Out of curiosity, I tried a piece of meat and instantly spit it out. I could not palate the kind of texture the meat had and thesauce was way too overpowering with pepper. It was far beyond worse than my chicken teriyaki dish... I always get the soba noodles and sesame chicken. Food is consistently good and the staff are always quick, efficient, sanitary,... and ready to answer any questions you might have. A two item combo plate is $7.09 at the moment and you really can't beat thatfor the portions they give you, i can make it last 2 meals. This place is my guilty pleasure and if you're gonna visit the mallthis holiday season stop in and support a small food chain. Also, please tip! I love their steamed vegetables because they don't cook them into submission. Hot and crisp and I don't taste preservatives. I... don't know what they do differently, but it's SO good - a healthier version of fast food. Next time you're in the food court atthe mall, give it a try. I strongly recommend this place. Such a great meal! Really satisfied my hunger. Food has excellent flavor and cooked to perfection. But...I think I may have been... over charged. Make sure they charge you the correct price for the meal you asked for. Read more
The staff was slow and unfriendly. Never smiled or said anything throughout my order. Never said "thank you. " No customer... service. The food was HORRIBLE. Rice was cold, veg tasted like is was soaking in dirty water all day, beef was on the grill withraw chicken. The taste was like eating right out of a dumpster! Remember when the prices were lower and they gave you more food? I do. Remember when the woman who prepares the food didn't have... a bad attitude? I don't. She is the most rude woman that I know. And I asked for a mushroom sample and she says we don't dosamples. But they are always giving samples of the teriyaki chicken, which is horrible might I add. I will not be going back! Read more
