I highly recommend this restaurant. Although I only eat fish, turkey and chicken and the smell inside was all pork. I still... enjoyed my meal. I had the honey BBQ Salmon chopped salad. It was huge and the salmon was delicious. Definitely would orderthe same next time. Our server Paige was exceptional and did not skimp on the yummy sweet cornbread. Thank you Paige for yourawesome customer service. Shorty's should be proud to have you on their team. Read more
I highly recommend this restaurant. Although I only eat fish, turkey and chicken and the smell inside was all pork. I still... enjoyed my meal. I had the honey BBQ Salmon chopped salad. Walking into the restaurant you see this big beautiful fireplace in the middle. Loved that. The staff were warming and our staff... check on us perfectly. The restrooms were surprisingly clean. The Men?s smelled like air freshener or something and the Women?ssmelled like baby powder.( as I was told). I ordered the spliced chicken with Mac n cheese and beans. Let me tell you, the bestMac n cheese I?ve ever had in Ohio. I?m from Louisiana so they didn?t taste like what I?m used to and they were perfect. Justthe right balance of sauces and favors I?m telling you. Something happened with the managers on the night we went so therestaurant closed earlier than expected. I didn?t get a chance to eat my chicken until I drove back to Columbus and warm it up.Even still, it also was really juicy and great. I wish I had the opportunity to try the dessert as well. Arrived at 5:00pm on a Tuesday. No wait to be seated. Ordered full rack of ribs, bbq beans, mac and cheese. Also salmon, fries... and cole slaw. Server excellent. Food arrived in reasonable time. Food excellent. Since it was my birthday I received a freemilk shake for dessert. Read more

Serving large portions most definitely helps also. Shorty's hit every single one of them with a perfectscore. We ordered the Feast for 2 for $39. It had half a rack of ribs, half a chicken, pulled pork, beef brisket, coleslaw, BBQbeans, macaroni and cheese and unlimited cornbread muffins. It didn't take long to come and out server was on point. She knewwhat we needed and wanted without us even asking. Just perfect. We both ate and enjoyed everything until we were full andcouldn't eat another bite. We had more food left over then what we both ate. That filled several large containers and a largecarry out bag. That Feast for 2 can feed 4 with no problem at all. We both had a whole meal for later. Plus we both got our ownbox of 6 muffins add to our leftovers. Shorty's is the best! Read more
