Sidon is consistently one of the best places to get a meal that reminds me of the food I?ve experienced traveling to the eastern... Mediterranean. The freshness of the meat, the accuracy of the preparation (medium rare was spot on my last three visits, andeven in takeout today to a sick friend it held on the road), and the mix of beautiful flavors all make nostalgic for some of mybest meals while overseas. After moving to Toledo I was concerned with where to get food in a new area and Sidon made me feelat home in this new place. Thank you for the hospitality and I am sure to come back many times in the future. Read more

First time in the area and trying Lebanese food. We had The falafel appetizer Sidon Mixed grill entree and the Sujuk Kabob... entree. All the food was pretty good and cooked to order. We also tried the Laziza (apple flavored), which is a soda. Also theVimto, which tasted like a cross between creme soda with a hint of fruit punch. The way to place your order was unusual for adine in You place your order at the counter after reading the menu. So that meant we waited to get to the counter then had tostep out of line to look at the menu. It was weird. Then you take a number to your table. Atmosphere was pleasant. Bathroom wasclean. Waiter was friendly but seemed timid. Food was delicious. A must visit if you're looking to try something new and in thetoledo Maumee area. Read more

First time having Lebanese food, and I was not disappointed!!! The falafel appetizer was a little dry but good flavor. I ordered... the Sidon Mixed grill entree and the Sujuk Kabob entree. Both did not disappoint. We also tried the Laziza (apple flavored),which is a soda. Pretty good. Also the Vimto, which tasted like a cross between creme soda with a hint of fruit punch. I hope Ican come again in the future. The service works like this: you order at the counter, are given a number, you choose where tosit, and staff have to come find you. It is in my opinion that this should be changed. One, because your server doesn't know whoordered what dish, so they just set it on the table or hope you tell them. Two, we told our server we didn't need any morebread, but another server set one on our table without asking. I didn't mind as it was delicious and warm!!! Our server was newI could tell, because he seemed nervous and looked out of place. The cashier has an overwhelming position, as she is takingorders, answering the phone, answering customer questions, and taking payments. The payment situation was weird. Some customerspaid before seating, some afterwards. I think it would be easier for a first time customer like myself, if I can sit down, lookat the menu, and decide what I want to eat, instead of standing near the counter trying not to take too long as a line isforming behind me. Also because your server knows you and a connection is made even if it is brief. It's the little thingssometimes .... This system works for fast food maybe and a place like Culver's, where workers are not obligated to check in onyour dining experience, but for a place like this, customers should get a little more personal attention. The manager did checkin on us, which was appreciated. Maybe it was because I had a new server....anyway, like if you agree... Read more

Oh, this restaurant is a bless! First of all the place is super clean, visually pleasant, confortable tables and seats, feels... really like a family. Staff is super kind, beyond what I could expected for a Sunday day. The food is really good, perfectlyseasoned for me. I honestly appreciate when restaurants try to bring flavors from ingredients and avoid the extreme focus onseasoning that many international cuisine restaurants fall for in order to appeal to the American palate. The prices/plate aresuper affordable and long fair for the value. This restaurant makes the bread fresh from scratch! I loved my stuffed eggplant:) Highly recommended if you have a family, I noticed they have booster seats and high chairs available and an ample space forlong crows. The organization of the restaurant is really clean and straightforward so take out orders which order through a paddon't mess with customers. I was pleased with the servers which seemed very attentive. Even the owner passed by to check ifeverything was good. Restaurant is not luxurious but the combination of the quality of food, the environment (music), attentionto detail and honest care of customers will make a perfect combination to impress anyone you invite there. We'll also be therefor sure again. Don't forget to visit the Middle Eastern supermarket beside this restaurant. Read more

How haven't we eaten here before!?! Highly recommended! The falafel was crunchy but not dry, and with great herb flavor. A fresh... baked (not just heated, but baked!) bread and oil/herbs for dipping was served with our meal (sorry I kept eating so there's nopicture of our vegetarian plate). The labneh and zatar "pizza" was super tasty, too. We will return! Read more
