Let me start by saying that the GM is kind and personable and our waitress was awesome. The reason for the 3 stars is because... the lobster bisque wasn’t the best. The GM did swap it out for the French onion soup that was great. I ordered the porterhousesteak medium and I was very particular about how I wanted my steak. Most of it came out well done and dry. Had I known the steakwould have come out the way that it did, I would have ordered something else. For $130 steak, I would expect it to be at leastjuicy. The chef did provide some garlic butter which made it a little better, but was definitely disappointed in the steak. Thesteak tips and dessert were amazing! Read more

AMAZING. this was our first time coming here and we were so impressed we are already planning on when our next visit will be!... yes it is pricey but when you pay good money, you get fantastic food and that is exactly what we got. not only did we have greatfood, but amazing service from our waiter james as well. he gave us some great information about the food and was just anamazing server in general. everything we got was delicious, from the french onion soup to our main entrees. I have never hadsuch a tender steak. thank you for making my birthday dinner so special and amazing! Read more

Certainly not a cheap meal, as most point out, but definitely delicious. Meat was cooked exactly as asked and is seasoned very... well. Everything was excellent quality. Service was exceptional as well. Best restaurant I've been too in Toledo so far. Theonly negative I can think of is that some of the wines are grossly overpriced - even for a restaurant. If you can buy a cheapbottle of Malbec at the grocery store for $10, I would expect a restaurant to charge maybe $30-35 for it, not $55-60. Read more

We had Micheal as a waiter and he was excellent! This was our first visit. We went to celebrate my birthday. They were very kind... and gave me a card and dessert. We ordered the lamb lollipop and the steak bites for an appetizer and we all liked those. Let metell you the pop over was my favorite thing I had there! For dinner I got the cowboy ribeye and I went with theirrecommendations for cooking and it was a bit unevenly cooked, but they made it right and quickly made me another one. Our onlycomplaint, and sadly it makes a huge difference if we'll return, the food was way too salty. The steak, augratin and potatoeswere so salty we each only had a few bites. Salt is important, but once added it can't be taken away. I would have rather had itunder salted and I could have seasoned to taste. The atmosphere was very nice and Micheal made everything better, but for theprice of the food, don't go ruining it with so much salt. Read more

The atmosphere is bright and inviting. One wall is all windows. Live piano player creating nice ambiance. Greeted four times... before even sitting down. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The food quality wasn’t the best I’ve had. But to befair, the wagyu steak was Australian I believe, and I prefer American. I am not sure the menu specified that. Really liked howwith larger groups, they were all served at the very same Time by many staff members. Read more

Listen people. If you want a FABULOUS meal & price is not a concern, GO HERE! James was our server & he was great! All staff was... wonderful actually. We had a delicious, relaxing meal w/ no pressure to hurry up & leave. We ordered Sweet & Spicy Calamari andLamb Chops to start, then French Onion & Lobster Bisque Soups, followed by the Wagyu Steak (1/2 shown in pic) & BrussellSprouts, and finished off with the best (Espresso) Creme Brulee I've ever had (could've done w/ less choc beans though) & theSalted Caramel Cheesecake, and a Spanish Coffee (very cool presentation of this!) Great view of the River area & well lit afterdark for a stroll. What a wonderful evening! Thank you Chop House Family! Will def be back if I'm ever in O*** again! ???????? Read more

So I got the Beef Wellington and the Brussels Sprouts with Bacon. For dessert I got espresso creme brulee and the spanish... coffee. The Spanish coffee was amazing and it went great with the creme brulee. This was my first time trying beef Wellington and it didn't disappoint. The brussel sprouts and that thick cut bacon was delicious. Read more
