Best sushi in Toledo. Huge pieces, very tasty that is an explosion of flavor each bite. All the special rolls are very special.... I almost always get the fiery dragon roll, has a great smoky flavor to it. Service is very friendly and fast. You go thereenough times the staff notices. I ordered the steak and shrimp. I got steak and some other fish that wasn't shrimp. I called and asked that they take my name... down and replace my food next time that I call and place an order. The guy said no but they will offer me 10% off my next orderand they will give me free shrimp. He also stated that if I am not happy I can bring the food back to them and they will replaceit. I stated that I have a 1 year old who is in bed (its 830pm) and that I am not driving all the way across town when gas is $5a gallon. The guy that that was the best he could do. I love this place however after even offering to email them a photo sothey know I am not lying they were so rude and not offering to replace my meal another time. My first time going here with my wife had our two kids with us. The food was excellent not bad pricing either for the flavor... going back tomorrow try the poke bowls gonna get another bite of delicious food. Good service good atmosphere and even therestaurant goers we're really nice. May 2021 Sadly, my second visit did not measure up to the initial experience. The sushi is still very good, but the owner had a... rotten attitude. He refused to allow us to open the door even though the air inside was full of smoke, and the temperatureoutside was 71°F. He didn't care at all even when I told him I had a permanent breathing problem. We ordered $60 worth ofsushi, and we were forced to sit outside at Blaze Pizza! The manager of Blaze was nice enough to allow us to use their tableseven though we had gotten our food from a different restaurant in the same shopping plaza. The owner of Yama said that the doorof the business could not be left open to get fresh air even though a couple of other businesses had their doors open at thattime. Aug. 2020 This place serves excellent sushi! I could even compare the quality to what I received at Genki Sushi inUtsunomiya, Japan. I ordered the rainbow roll, hot babe roll, and yellowtail box. The tempura was hot, fresh, and tasty. the Yama's Green Roll was unique and very succulent. The spring rolls were crisp and hot... but the filling was a bit mushy. We would have liked more crunch inside. But others are likely to enjoy the textures as theyare. All in all, a good place for Japanese takeout. Read more

Amazing! Everything was delicious, service was wonderful and the menu selection is perfect with just enough of everything you... want when you're getting sushi or hibatchi.
