I waited for the waitress to come to me for 11 minutes, and then it took ONE HOUR AND 5 MINUTES for my order to be ready (I... ordered bourbon chicken skillet and cheesecake) MORE THAN ONE HOUR!!! THE PLACE WAS EMPTY!!! AND THEY DID NOT EVEN GIVE ME ACHEESECAKE! This Denny?s is awful! And the most annoying thing was when the waitress asked:?Everything is good here?? MY GOD, IWAS HUNGRY, AND I HAVE WAITED FOR THE MEAL MORE THEN ONE HOUR NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE DURING YOUR LUNCH BREAK. Read more
Drove 2 1/2 hours to meet a friend. Seated right away. Took about 1 HR to get food with little options, because they were out... of food. Was about 2:30pm and could only get breakfast. Tried to ask for refill and worker looked at us and kept walking. Hashbrowns not cooked all the way and over loaded with salt. Never asked about how wanted eggs cooked and they came out scrambled. If I could leave 0 I would. I understand every where is short staff or new workers. But waiting over an hour for food is a bit... extreme. I had hair in my food. My crepes had a greasy, burnt, dirty taste. My friend?s childrens Mac and cheese was ice cold.They cheeseburger had no cheese and we brought it up and we were told that it does not come with cheese but it does. My husbandsfood was cold. We brought it up being nice and got basically oh well. Heard staff complaining bout not staying till 10 andcustomers walking out. We should of as well. Read more
T-Bone with eggs and hash browns. Nothing to write home about. They were short handed but the service was good. The food was... just average. Wish the hash browns were crispier, I felt they were under done. The steak could have been seasoned a little more.Salt and pepper go a long way. The staff are very attentive and the food is good. ****** update 08/27/2021****** all of the good waitresses left and went to a... restaurant down the road from Denny's. I'm thinking it is time for us to follow the good waitresses and join them at perkins Amywas our waitress today she is always rude despite the fact that in past visits we gave a minimum tip of $20 that is the minimumwe give to any waitress that serves us at any restaurant (unless of course the service is bad or the food is bad) we have givenup to $80 for a tip however this girl gets no tip today just because she's constantly rude and today she actually brings burnttoast out to the table who does that? We have been stopping at this Denny?s on our way up north for MANY, MANY years. We probably stop 20 times a year. Over the... past year things have gone downhill at this Denny?s. Not only have we had to wait for a LONG time to get our food, but myhusband ordered his Bourbon Chicken Sizzling Skillet (as he always does) and not only wasn?t it sizzling, the potatoes andveggies were mushy and the sauce was just drizzled on top of the chicken. We?ll be stopping at the Denny?s in Mauston next timein hopes it will be better? Read more
