The pizza hasn't been good since they got a new chef. Mostly dough not enough cheese & the worker Joe is very nasty to the... customers. The subs have 2 slices of meat on them for 11.00. Ordered a gmas pie online for 4pm got a email at 308pm that my order was being prepared would be ready in 15minutes , went to... pick up my order he told me I put the order in for 4pm I told him about the email I received. This is not the point althoughthey have zero people skills, the pies are made from pre-made shells, not fresh dough. Won't be going back, first and last time. Read more
We always loved Joey D's. We ordered at least once a week for delivery and went there for dinner frequently. Two things that... bothered me. First, we went to dinner with friends for my birthday. I bragged about the food. It was their first time there. Iwas disappointed, my friends were also disappointed. The final straw was when I put an order in for delivery. Normally we get pizza, wings, subs and or dinner entrees. This time I decided to try their zapoles, too. We waited and waited and waited. Aftera few calls, they said they needed to go get powdered sugar for the zapoles. That was the hold up. So finally after over twohours, we finally got our food. Afterwards, I couldn't wait to eat the zapoles. One bite and I spit it out. No powdered sugar,not even regular sugar. They were covered with salt. They not only jerked us around and lied about it. I'm sure it wasintentional. We also waited over two hours. So, needless to say, it was arrivederci to Joey D's for us. I haven't been theresince and have no intentions of ever going back. First time coming in here and last! Rude staff. So unfriendly. We came in first and they skipped us and went to a customer that... trailed in behind us. Must?ve been a regular or something. Dirty looks from the guy taking our order and attitude-riddenresponses. My Sicilian piece was in the box with all of its cheese off. Also judging by the condescending responses to yourcustomers on these reviews, it doesn?t really seem like you care about your customers. Pizza arrived as shown. We ordered a half plain, have Buffalo chicken pie. The cheese wasn?t melted, it was cold when it... arrived. Whoever made it out WAY too much hot sauce on it.... I called to make them aware and was given no apology but insteadwas told if I had a problem with it that I would need to bring it back to the pizzeria myself and IF they thought my complaintwas valid they would consider offering me a replacement. Not sure if the guy on the phone was the owner but he didn?t seem tocare much at all. Disappointed and won?t be ordering again. Things happen, how you handle it is important. Smh. Read more
Pizza came basically raw. Toppings falling off when you pick it up. Can?t even eat it properly. First time ordering from here,... won?t be back. Called to complain they basically said sorry nothing I can do and hung up. Read more
While working Medic Unit #214, stopped in for 2 slices of ???? pizza. Been her a few times and the taste and quality never... disappoints. Crust was tasty and crisp! Sauce is sweet and tangy! Cheese very delicious! Read more
As far as I'm concerned these guys are great..... Normally order out food from the Brick location. Stupid me ordered food... accidentally from the Tom's River location. But they came through and made the delivery! Thank you!!!! Read more
