I was really excited to try Pisces Seafood because I wanted large scallops they were friendly when we walked in however the... person that helped us with our order was a man with no gloves on and picked up the scallops one by one with his dirty hands andalso handled the money directly after like he had been doing it all day . i?m highly disappointed , We paid $35 for a pound ofscallops and they literally tasted like cleaning products when they were cooked so I?m not even sure what they?re doing in therebut needless to say we won?t be back Read more
We had the pleasure of first time visit to this fantastic restaurant. The staff was outstanding, so friendly, so nice, made us... feel very welcome. Atmosphere is very nice, small inside but very bright and cheery. Nothing fancy but nice decorated. The foodis all fish and seafood, and literally is about the best seafood/fish we have ever had. Appetizers were great. Shrimp cocktailare huge and perfect. Fresh fluke was amazingly fresh and perfect. Fried shrimp too...everything is great here. Prices are abit high, but you get what you pay for, so actually good value for what you get.. First grade food, big portions, quality andexceptional staff. Fresh fish market is great too. 1st time there and what a hidden gem. Definitely deserves a 5 star rating. Dinners come with salad with their house dressing... which was creamy, but not overpowering. Honestly, 1st time I've had a house dressing that I really loved. Had the horseradishencrusted grouper special that came with veggies ( green beans and broccoli ) and choice of potato ( french fries or baked) oryellow rice. The fish was so tasty and flaky and so flavorful. Done to perfection. Veggies were nice and crispy ( not soggy).Large portion. Even my husband ( picky eater) loved his. Cleaned the plate. And they have a seafood counter with the freshestseafood I have ever seen. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They have a large outside tent for dining to accommodatethe summer rush. Not sure if it's a BYOB, you can ask. Definitely going back, and definitely going to buy some fresh seafood forhome. What a great place. Adding on, 3rd time there. Had fish and chips, so good. This place is a GEM in the area. The dishes have complex flavor. Tip: order from the DAILY SPECIALS. The crab stuffed Turbot was... delicious! Expect quality here. This place is on the eastbound side of rt. 37 just before seaside bridge. I'm probably reading into things too much but I've... always assumed it's this way because it's for the locals. You won't be disappointed! Amazing swordfish and tuna to be had,without trying to show off.
