This was our first time going to Red Lobster in over 10 years and everything was fantastic and we are so happy we chose the Toms... River location. We went for dinner on a Friday night and were seated right away and had the sweetest and kindest server,Candice, helping us. The menu has a lot of items on it, I went with the Shrimp Trio and my husband got two skewers of theArgentine Red Shrimp and a side of bacon man & cheese. All of the shrimp were seasoned well and one was better than the next. IfI had to pick a favorite, I would probably go with the garlic shrimp scampi because I enjoy a garlic flavor but the Walt'sfavorite shrimp were also great because they were not greasy at all; more of a light breading taste. We also had the CrabRangoon appetizer which had a lot of flavor and a savory dipping sauce. I also tried the Sangria which was delicious and veryaffordable for a specialty drink. The atmosphere was clean, modern, and did not smell of fish at all. Our server was veryattentive and made great recommendations as well. My only complaint is that there was so much food that we ran out of room fordessert!! I even told the server that next time we come back, we will get dessert first to make up for it. The food was great, I absolutely enjoyed the steak, lobster tails, & broccoli. I appreciate the excellent customer service... provided as well as the amazing food. The chocolate wave was the best part of my time there with my brother, father, andstepmother to celebrate my birthday early. We went we tried to eat salmon was dry pictures don't do it justice ..we work hard for our money and for a good time and... experience. The presentation on the plate was awful assembled by a 5 year old Our waitress came once left and disappeared. Nosuggestions manager made sure we didn't pay for it but that wasn't the case we would have enjoy a full meal not leaving hungryin 2 hours the portions on the plate was for a 10 year old we understand the situation and due to high cost but the quality offood wasnt the same fix it please best of luck I pray we all survive this ..we love Red Lobster and we hope our next visit isdifferent. This location is a great location...managers are great and the bartenders are great....If you are able to sit at the bar l... recommend it...less wait time....l love the food...steaks better than Texas Roadhouse in my opinion....then add crab legs orlobster tail....sheesh... Read more
We were greeted warmly at the door, our server Peleg was excellent, and the manager even dropped by to check on us and was so... personable as well. They made it a really nice experience. Highly recommend the bacon wrapped scallops, sangria, and thesalmon/shrimp/lobster dinner. Read more
Went to get the special on the shimp. There was no signs to say it was on. The waitress did not even mention that the shimp... promotion was still on. Heard from someone that on the menu there is a little box that let you know about the sale. I heard iton TV is was still on. Thats why I went to get the shimp. Food was good but I wanted the shimp special. The waitress did notcome around a lot. She needed to come around a little more. There should be more advertisertment for the sale in all therestaurant do not hide it on the menu just because people may abuse it. There is other people who are missing out on thespecial. Because they think it's over. I think it is not good practice for a business. If they want to make money. Read more
