I moved out of the area back when Plaza Pizzeria was still on Hinds.Started ordering from day one, back in the late 70's. They... had excellent, quality food then, and still do,without a doubt.Saturday I ordered my special "Super Steak " sub & OMG....I wentback in time, could not believe nothing has changed, after all this time. It's been 10 years since I had anything from there.So happy I found my go to place again. NOBODY is consistent as Plaza. Never a problem with anything. Super Steak Sub, Ham sub &Pizza was my usual. My husband an I ordered 3 pizzas from here ,this was our first time ordering ,when we went in I was told cash only as most... people (I think) we only had card on us. I can say I was a little surprised that I was not told this when I ordered. We hadwalked down to puck up our food so there was not a fast way to get cash. My husband seen a bar down the road an walked to there ???? took out $80 plus a fee for the ???? an our bank went back to get our food an the young lady locked the door an stood therelaughing at us. I called the next day to speak with the owner but he was not helpful he said we don't take cards an costumersshould know that an was extremely rude. Absolutely amazing and very delicious pizza! Every time!
Pizza is the greasiest of any I ever had. Used to make best sausage subs though until "bad help is better than NO help". Sausage... was burned crisp and they decided to serve it to the customer anyway! Guess what? I NOTICED! As if they care.... It will be LONGtime to be back. We have not been back to WNY in a while and we had a major pizza craving. The reviews for Plaza Pizzeria were really good, so we... went with a simple cheese pizza. The reviews we on the money! Such a great pizza! The sauce was flavorful, perfect amount ofcheese, and the crust was baked to perfection. Oh how we wish we could get this pizza in Alabama!! Great job! Thanks PlazaPizzeria! Found long grey hair on my slices. Figured after reading all the negativity and poor customer service.. I just tossed the... slices.. Grotesque,disgusting,... I mean... You should have a mask on at least. And if not. Tie that greasy beard up so itdoesnt touch peoples food. Absolutely gross. Read more
The pizza and wings were great. Be prepared for a 45 minute wait or longer for your order. There may have been 5 stars if the... pizza wasn't done so far ahead of the wings it was soggy from the wait on top of the oven. Read more
