If I could rate zero stars, I would. Terrible service. Mentioned a shellfish allergy (that can be easily avoided, but we... constantly question what we order to make sure). The wait or a argued with us saying they do not serve shellfish here. Withshrimp all over the menu. The salsa tastes like pizza sauce and no one ever came back to help us. Horrendous service. Not what it used to be. Service was always excellent, but is hit or miss now. My biggest complaint is that the menu hasn't... changed since they opened. We don't want Rice and beans so often order appetizers when there are no other options. Jose peppersoffers salads, ff and fruit as alternatives but a lot of mexican places do not. Jalapenos has no substitute options a verylimited appetizer menu. What place named jalapenos doesn't have stuffed jalapenos or jalapeno poppers? Read more
Just had a margarita and chips. Salsa was good margarita was really good not too much alcohol like most places his job
Outside Clean, inside clean. Smaller than the outside looked. Mid afternoon noisey with the drunks. Food was left to be desired.... Fresh warm chips & salsa. Tea was a little stale. Meat was dry on tacos, Husband Chile Rellenos was smothered with mushroomsgravy as a substitute for cheese sauce. It might have been because we were traveling through, in their defense it was fair weekand busy. I'm sure it is a excellent place for their small town. Read more
Fairly good food. I loved my Chili Relleno and the taco was full of meat which was nice they don't skimp. Service was a little... slow but to their defense, it was lunch time and they were really busy. Read more

Best Mexican food in tonganoxie the other Mexican restaurant isn?t very good and it?s more expensive. They want 699 for a bush... light draw. No thanks jalapeños. You can get an eight dollar pitcher of beer. Read more
