Wished I could say the food was good or not. After waiting in line for a good 20 minutes and not moving we decided to go... elsewhere. I now remember why I stopped coming here in the first place. We used to come here on a fairly regular basis andstopped for the lack of help you get and the bad service. Here's a tip if you are in customer service, take care of thecustomer you have standing in front of you before you handle phone/online orders. If you cannot handle dine in, take out, drivethrough, online, and phone orders, even though the place looked staffed to handle it, then don't do all types of orders. This is the worst cafe Rio I have ever been to. I don't know why I have come back, but they literally mess up your order ever... time, and are so skimpy on portions. My sweet pork taco this time had the smallest spoon full of meat, such a joke. Ireccomend going anywhere but here. Read more
First time visiting this restaurant. Upon entering it was clean and seemed pleasant. I was helped by the staff as in to how to... make my order. Not only were they helpful, but they let me customize my chicken asada tacos with no questions asked. The tacoswere amazing. The flavor popped! I added their cream cilantro sauce with the mild green and medium red sauce. It gave the taco asoft spicy bite with lots of flavor. Definitely became a top favorite for me. Read more
The food is good, but the way they treated me was terrible. I waited for 7 minutes until the person who prepares food look at my... face. I was the only one there! Then I explained that I new in the US and I?ve never been in Cafe Rio before. They were so rudeand didn?t help me. They gave me only one enchilada and didn?t explain that it could be two. I asked for meat quesadilla for mydaughter and they gave me cheese. Anyways, worst restaurant ever! Next time I?ll go to La Fountain. At least, they are nicethere. Read more
I ordered take out, went home with my food, opened it up and it was the worst made burrito I've seen. I didnt even get my... lettuce and Pico. My wife ordered enchiladas, the tortillas were hard, the beans were burnt and missing the lettuce and Pico.Not a very good experience this time. Read more
The staff is really nice and they try as hard as I can but the quality of the food seems to be lower than usual. I think with... the right management there this restaurant could be very successful and the quality of the food would be better. Sad that there's not a consistency from store to store. Not impressed with my nino's. There's not enough cheese to even call it... a quesadilla. I also ordered a smothered sweet pork burrito it was not smothered and also had barely any cheese and I couldbarely taste the sweet pork because there was very little meat. Read more
We just walked out after waiting nearly 20 minutes with only 3 people in front of us. There was 1 person, who was very slow... taking orders. We watched as a worker was ?stocking? the already stocked drink area. I asked to speak to a manager, statingmaybe the lady wandering around ?stocking? could help? the manager said? we are short staffed and laughed at my suggestion. Wewalked out. There were 3 or 4 other people behind us that walked out before us.
