The restaurant was dirty. The food didn't look good at all. I actually got sick in the middle of the night and suspect it was... the food. The servers working there were definitely not on top of things. I have eaten there many times and it has never beenlike this. I doubt I will ever eat there again it was a horrible experience. I was the only one in line and the guy greeting me quickly told me 'if you don't like my personality, there's the door'... I... waited in line 5 minutes before he asks to take my order. Stared ordering a kids meal and he told me no cause I don't have kidsphysically with me even though I was bringing it home to my children, then turned and talked to the other workers withoutletting me finish my order. Our salad was great service was great. Kinda skimped on our salads I thought they should've had way more salad in them. They... were fairly busy and were running low on pretty much everything tho. Over all the flavor was great as always and service wasgood also. Read more
This place has really gone downhill fast. The customer service is horrible and does not separate food items. They literally... dumped the lettuce and beans on top of my enchilada instead of putting them in the side of the plate. If that?s bad enough, theplace is filthy. There was only 2 tables that were clean. I recommend going to cafe rio, it?s in the same parking lot, tastesbetter and the experience is a 1000 times here. Read more
Never got to order food. Google maps says they are open till 11. I pulled up just before 9 ams the door was locked and the... employee that was visible was busy playing on his cell phone. He didn't come tell me they were closed... cafe Rio in thr sameparking lot was kind and gave me delicious food. I'd recommend the Cafe Rio here but not the Costa Vida based on how theemployee treated me and that they closed early. Read more

Complaints to management seem to fall on deaf ears, so it looks like I have no choice but to post a review. I've eaten at the... Tooele Costa Vida for years. The meals (especially the legendary sweet pork burrito) cost more than ever, and are somehow thesmallest and poorest quality they've ever been. You might as well eat at Taco Bell, where the burritos are the same size andhalf the price. I don't know if this is a result of poor staff training, poor management, the company losing it's way or all ofthe above. In any case, this was my favorite place to eat and I won't be going back. We waited on the line for them to make our food for 20 minutes. Not in line. But in front of the cooks who should have been... making our order. We saw a cook in the back blow into the bag the churros go into. That is disgusting and not safe for anyone.The Manager here was not urgent at all and tried to play it off cool but instead made us wait longer for our food. Superunprofessional and unsanitary.
