Nice place, staff. Is a little hard to get to due to road construction in front of the restaurant.
Didn?t even get to eat there walked in at 8:00 and was told there was a 10 minute wait. That was fine but there were 15+ tables... available. I specifically asked for a booth and at 8:45 was told if a high top table was ok and within eyesight there were 12booths open. We decided to leave after a 30 minute wait to be put somewhere we can?t sit at. When we left there were over 20+tables available. Read more
I left a 5 Star Review 5 years ago. But this place has really gone down hill. My Spinach Artichoke Dip had a random sticker... sunken in the the dip and our chicken had so much garlic on it. It was unbearable to eat. Like was it on purpose!? How does thathappen? Ordered a Long Island and a $6 rum mixed drink. Those were good! Our waitress was nice but man, we had to flag downthe host(Who was doing nothing) to grab a few To-Go box's and ask for the check. We've been several times in the past year, andI think we'll give this Applebees up and visit another chain. Read more
Food was amazing except for the appetizer of waffle fries. After talking with the Manager Teresa, she made things correct. We... ordered 02 orders of waffle fries appetizers, fish and chips which didn't have the chips or coleslaw, full honey BBQ rack ofribs. Read more
Just ate at Applebee's for the first time in probably 8yrs and it will be at least that before I go back. Service was OK and was... probably considered pretty good by recent standards (post Covid). The food was extremely slow to come out of the kitchen about30 min. I ordered the classic Bourbon Street Steak medium rare. This was one of the worst steaks I have ever had. It seemed tobe cooked correctly but was so tough I could barely cut it with a steak knife let alone chew it. I have had well done steaks waymore tender. I managed to swallow a few bits. The garlic mashed potatoes were flavorless. My wife got the 6oz steak that wasn'tany better although she managed to eat about 1/2 before stopping. When the waiter brought the ticket he asked if we wantedboxes, when we said no and he saw the meal barely touched he didn't bother to ask if anything was wrong. All in all spent a goodamount of money for terrible food that we had to wait a long time on. Just in case you were wondering the restaurant was at lessthan 25% full so no excuse for the slow food. Needless to say go to McDonald's the food is much better and that is veryunfortunate. Read more

I had not been to the Topeka Applebee's. This was my first-time visit. my husband and I were visiting at lunchtime on Friday. It... was a busy time ( we went there around 2:00 noon). But luckily we got the table very soon. The server was polite and good attaking care of us. We ordered chicken quesadillas for appetizers. It was so delicious and had great flavors. My husband ordereda hamburger and I ordered sirloin. Both are so scrumptious. Inside the restaurant was so clean and comfortable. They had nicecomfy chairs and dining tables. Also, all over the table was clean. I recommend this Applebee's at Topeka. Read more
Tyson was our waiter and he was amazing. He wasn't overbearing but my glass was never empty. He checked on us the perfect... amount. They were packed when we arrived but they still got us a table in 15 minutes. The atmosphere was amazing, I could hearthe music from the bar but I could still have a conversation with my grandmother who has trouble hearing. The food was perfectas usual and came out in a timely fashion. I always have a great experience when I visit this location. Great job everyone keepup the good work. Read more
