The Blue Moose is an Amazing restaurant. There is lower lighting, TV's for those keeping up with sports, and fairly comfortable... seating. The host and servers were friendly and performed their tasks well. My compliments to the chef!! The dinner menu hasseveral appetizers. We tried the shrimp won tons and the buffalo chicken wings. Both were very tasty. The main dinner menu hassandwiches, entrees highlighting different meats, salads and overall a good variety of options. The chicken and veggie curry,club sandwich, spicy andouille sausage pasta and adobo chicken sandwich were all delicious. We hope to visit again when we arein the area again! Read more
A friend and I came to town to see some historical sites and things. We decided to try this restaurant for breakfast. The... pictures from other reviews and the first impression once you arrive is “this looks fancy”. Inside it’s nice but average.I ordered the chicken and waffles my friend ordered the big breakfast. The chicken was good… very juicy and not dry. Thewaffle was more like a “pancake” waffle, was good. We would visit again. Read more
I am not from here and this is my favorite place to eat when we traveled to see family. The wine is very good. The curry amazing... (if you like spicy) all over great experience. The waitresses where awesome and friendly! I wen there like 3 more times duringour trip. Wish we had one back home Read more
the service is great and quick. I am not a huge fan of their menu though, I feel like it’s basic and not many options. However... the food that they do have is delicious! So I give them that. Read more
Our group of 10 showed up this evening without a reservation and were seated within 20 minutes. Our server John was *amazing*!... He provided stellar service, handled special requests with aplomb and wasn't phased by a certain very picky member of our party.All of the food and drinks were delicious. Pullin up i was like dangg this place looks fancy. Then we go in and its like an average restaurant. I ordered the Nachos, the... cheese was good but got cold fast. Then the “classic pizza” wasnt very flavorful. Then i go to the bathroom and it smeltlike sewage. Bathroom was very dirty. But the gf enjoyed her Chicken Wings & brother enjoyed his chicken strips. Got the Eggs Benedict which are typically really good, but this is what I got for both my original and the “remake” Manager... never came to fix the issue, our server had to handle it. At one point saying, “well sir the eggs Benedict has poachedeggs”… please tell me those photos are poached eggs with a straight face. Read more
Not bad overall, somehow my expectations seem to be too high which is a little disappointing. The location is Southwest... wannamaker (nice area of Topeka) the building is kept up and the establishment was clean and extremely nice both inside and out.There's just a really nice aura about it. Well apon arrival I happen to be following in a group of women whom of which one wasdisabled and I noticed the hostess hold the door open for them, (how kind) however as I approached the door it was let go anddoor closes in my face. Rude I thought. Despite not having the door held couple more seconds for me to arrive inside I wasgreeted with a smile. At first seating I taken to a table someone must've just left before someone was able to get over and wipethings off. ( Yuck) so of course I ask to be seated elsewhere. The bartender ended up being my waiter he was completelyprofessional and kind. Our food was hot and out in a timely manner being that it was the lunch hour it wasn't very busy so thatwas nice.
