Had a great meal at a great price here today. We had never been here before and we always take a look a buffet first to decide... if we want it. My girlfriend, son, and I could tell right off that this was going to be a good one. Lots of hot fresh foods toenjoy! All the usual fair and more like sushi, fried chicken, wings, and a chocolate fountain. We all agreed that every thingwas great. This is extra impressive because we came in around 3:30 which is usually not the best time for most buffets. Theservice and price were all great too. We will definitely be back. Read more
As always good food served hot, ready to eat, and always delicious. The sushi bar has a different kind of sushi every day, the... servers are always kind and helpful and the atmosphere is quite welcoming. Hands down the best Chinese buffet in Topeka. Highlyrecommend if your visiting and want a good eat at a very manageable price. I.E 2 Adults both with sodas, $28.98. Did I mentionthe chocolate fountain and Ice Cream bar????? Read more

China Pavilion has withstood the test of time with consistency. My grandmother used to take us here when we were kids, not I'm... 35! The prices are great. I must admit, the food has gotten slightly less savory- specifically the green beans AND I was sadpeanut butter chicken wasn't served at dinner PLUS some guy was using his hands as utensils to serve himself without reprimand.Luckily, I was done eating when my step dad noticed this. The food is okay for a budget buffet. They haven't reinvested in maintaining let alone fixing up the place since it opened over... 25+ years ago. The tall 30ish year old male server was openly rude and dismissive of us. I have never encountered someone likethat working a service job. I would recommend visiting here if not for this person. Most bland food I've had in a long time. Coating on chicken was mushy and not really a coating because it wasn't actually... sticking to the chicken. Rice was cold. Also missing items from our order. When we went back to get it the employee acted likeit was such an inconvenience and tried to charge me for it. First and last time trying this place. Read more
The food was decent for a buffet. I keep forgetting how hard it is to keep the food hot on a buffet but if you look for what is... steaming and stir that to get what is at the bottom then you will have better luck with having a hot meal.
