Honestly, I was really surprised by this place, only because every other Mexican place seems to be pretty much the same, so it... was fantastic to actually have food that not only tasted different, if was really good! Never had a pan fried taco, but I'lldefinitely be having more! Ask for the spicy salsa, it's got a good kick, and the side of avacado was like a whole avacado! Goodstuff. Read more
Excellent meals, and awesome Mango Margaritas
We choose to sit outside, daytime. The service wasn't so well, after we got seated. Long waits for items needed. The restaurant... was clean. The atmosphere was fun and chill, family type setting. STAY AWAY! We are so disappointed because with this place. Every time we are in town from Texas we used to love everything in... this establishment but no today since the service was super slow and I don?t blame the only 2 servers running back and forth to seat guest, take orders, prepare the drinks, cashier and maybe even cook the food. When we finally got our micheladas they looknothing like they did before with pre cook frozen shrimp ?Disgusting? wiIt was slopped together. Terrible service, We will lookfor an establishment that understands at least getting what you?re paying for because the receipts aren?t even clear and theyget upset because you ask them to explain it to you. Great little mexican restaurant across from Washburn University. VEry authentic food. Just got back from Mexico and they have a... lot of original dishes that I had there. Try the pan fried taco and the enchiladas in the green chili sauce. Full bar. Read more
The margaritas were extremely weak. To the point where I doubt there was any alcohol in it. The only meat options for the tacos... are ground beef and chicken. I tried both and neither of them had any flavor or seasoning. Do not recommend. The server wasgreat though. Read more
