This little restaurant is a gem! Affordable sushi and perfect for takeout the staff is very friendly. Dine-in is an impersonal... experience especially if you're alone because you order from and pay with a tablet/kiosk. Otherwise I love this place. Read more

Came to Kansas to visit my sister. We went for a lunch at this place and it was a wreck, server was nice but didn’t have a... clue about the menu he have to bring someone for help. Then sushi wasn’t rolled correctly, rice was cold didn’t feel freshand we ordered cooked. The fried rice and ramen noodles was good. For the high price and location I was expecting better qualityfood. Read more

Wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was exceptional. The no waste rule they have is amazing. I applaud them for... that. Only beef I have is my hands are a bit stiff and arthritic so chopsticks are not my friends. Lol. I managed and had agreat meal with a good friend. I will be back. Read more

The staff is very polite, service was relatively quick and it was pretty clean. We had 4 adults and 2 kids and it was all you... can eat sushi. We did have an accident where one of the sodas launched itself across the table. But left full. I think if youdon’t eat everything you order they add a surcharge. To prevent waste. Read more

The food was good. The signs outside say "buffet" and "hibachi" so you might expect there to be a physical buffet that you can... select from or a line where they cook your hibachi in front of you. Neither of these is the case. Our only problem with theplace was that the ordering process is overly complicated. You can get the "all you can eat" and order whatever you want fromthe menu but they want you to clean your plate completely before eating more and then you order again. However, if you order theall you can eat, everyone at your table has to as well, which is 22 bucks per person. So if you have a person with you that justwants an entree off the menu, you ALL have to order off the regular menu. If you all order off the regular menu you don't haveto write down what you want, but if you all get the all you can eat you have to check it off on a paper menu. I do understandthat this business model is likely more efficient for them, but it unfortunately feels a little business centered instead ofcustomer centered. I wanted to share this so that perhaps someone who has not tried it yet would know what to expect and itwouldn't be so confusing. Read more

Excited and inexperienced in Japanese food! Mizu's is definitely a diamond in the rough. It's not very big but it's welcoming.... All the staff wore face mask, the food comes out timely and the wait staff was very efficient. They have an all u can eat optionhowever if you aren't able to eat all your food u pay extra for whatever is left over. The good thing is the portions are small.Ordered quite a bit. ( Wanted to try as much as I could) I didn't like that when the server came out with the food the bottom ofthe top plates were touching the food under as she had no tray she just used her arms. Over all was satisfied. I did learn sushiisn't for me. Read more

Good local place for a sushi/hibachi dinner. Gave it a 3 star rating as it's definitely not a top of the line restaurant and... also isn't something I would consider for a nice planned sit down meal (Special date or event, etc). That said it is a niceclean restaurant and the staff were friendly and provided good service. The food was brought out quickly and was very pleasingto the eye. In my opinion the hibachi chicken was quite tasty and comparable to similar restaurants. The sushi to me wassomewhat of a let down. It was served in a very appealing fashion with sliced ginger and wasabi but to me it really lacked inflavor..... I love sushi and have higher expectations of it which is why I felt let down. Price wise they are definitely on thecheaper end with sushi rolls starting at $4.50 each and hibachi starting at $9.00 so for the money it's definitely a bargainspot for a meal. All in all I would eat there again and would recommend to others but only as something to try if they happen tobe in the area and are looking for an inexpensive bite to eat on something more unique than fast food.
