Typical Red Lobster quality. If you choose carefully the entrees are very appetizing and even healthy. Service was great, team... oriented, so you are not dependent on a single individual that might be very busy at any given moment. Our waiter was terrific. We have had him several times before. I can't remember his name but he had grown a beard. We sat in... the section to the left of the desk near the front. Service was prompt and attentive and our lunch was really good. Fried flounder and cod were very tasty. My baked potato was... very small, and I don't really care for salt on the skin. Keep in mind if you drink water only, it has a definite tap watertaste. The lunch menu is still on the expensive side. It would be nice if there were more than one under $10 option. We went in at 8:00, no wait and it took 10 minutes and still no waiter. Although 4 waiters were standing around the front desk.... We moved yo the bar but I still asked for the manager. It took 6-8 minutes for him to appear. We decided we were probably betteroff to go to Olive Garden next door where it took 30 seconds to be waited on. I know it's hard to find good help lately but thuswas not acceptable. We have been to other Red Lobsters with great service. Our server, Brian #1, was patient and delightful! (Little things like warming the mug first so my 89yo mother's tea would stay... hot longer means a lot.) We discovered the 10 lunch options, priced at $9.99 - entree with 2 sides, and of course thesinful/yummy biscuits. We were in town two weeks in a row and ate there both times. We love the coconut shrimp! Update: visitedagain when in town. The price is now $11.99 for the lunch coconut shrimp + 2 sides. Still a great value, and delicious! Food is still good, service is still good. Alcohol was great. Prices are on the high side. However, I feel the quality of the... food was worth it. Brian is a phenomenal server. Mom had lobster bisque which was delightful. Brian guessed it perfectly. He suggested getting... the pound and a half of Crab legs and he was spot on. The only thing I couldn't finish were my french fries, but no worries. Ican get fries anywhere. But fresh seafood in Kansas is hard to come by. Good old Red Lobster has it down to a science.
