Had the shrimp to start and the blackened haddock tacos which were stuffed and delicious. The beer selection was good, didnt... have any but cocktail menu looked great and were all ordered at tables around us. We were just visiting Maine but is a placewe'll keep in mind to come on our next trip! Read more
The Duck Pub is worth going out of your way a little bit. It's even worth making a special trip. Very enjoyable lunch here the... other day. Everything was great from the quality of the food to portion size to service. Meaty wings with house made sauces,crispy house cut fries and onion rings and a whole filet of fresh fried haddock were all excellent. The bartender was friendly,attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. It's apparent that the kitchen staff and management are committed to providing aquality dining experience. Highly recommend! I'm sure this is a great choice for an after-golf meal, but if you're going for dinner with good ambiance, this isn't a great... choice. We sat in the downstairs bar and there was no music or other background noise like a game on TV. It was so quiet we felttotally uncomfortable because we thought other tables could hear everything we said. The food choices weren't great either. Wewere with someone who had been here before and she said there were a lot fewer choices than the last time she was there. Weended up leaving to have dinner elsewhere. Read more
We ordered the steak with smashed potatoes and asparagus. It was great. Also the fish and chips. Very good. And the fried... chicken sandwich with fries. we got it to go. Will definitely eat there again Read more
Found this great pub the other day when going to check out the golf course. Met Sam, the pro. Very nice guy. In the pub head... chef Mitch gave me some fish chowder to sample, which was excellent. Haley behind the bar was great and overall service was topnotch. I’d come here whether I was golfing or not, looking forward to going back. Thanks guys! Read more
