Poor staffing for the Santa Clause paprade. Two staff members only taking orders, lines to the door. I worked at Factoryditecy... for five years and no how bad it gets... BUT HERE'S the kicker... My son had to wait in the only bathroom, that has no lock inthe door due to there being no toilet paper. There's a line up of people wanting to use the bathroom also. When I got to thefront I told the cashier my situation, she told me to wait and took an order. I went back to check on my son and waited andwaite... When I got back to the front, she's taking orders. She then turns and hands me toilet paper and goes back to takingorders. That was poor service for sure... Had I not gone back to the cash, she had no intention of bringing it to my son. Read more
The cashier goes from the cash straight to the food and don't wash they hands sometimes...they don't put on gloves when touching... the food...they talk all over the food when they are preparing it...that's not good health practices. Read more

The Beyond Meat burger is fantastic. Highly recommend it to anyone, much better and healthier than beef. There's a lot of... unwholesome food misinformation and glamorization. For instance they make plain white sugar which is unhealthy and beingrestricted as a fast food item because of the serious health consequences in many jurisdictions like New York City. Whereas atthis A&W they advertise that they only use 100% natural cane sugar - which is exactly what is bad for your health. Or thatsomehow cow farming can replenish grasslands. My understanding is that that is also not true. There's loads of evidence for thebenefits of a plant based diet from reducing greenhouse gases, reducing and reversing deforestation including rainforests (itdoesnt matter if your beef isnt from the rainforest - if yours isnt from there, someone else's will be because there just isn'tenough planetary surface for everyone to eat beef the way we do in north America) - it would be great if they advertised theirplant based items more. A&W has been the most consistent of the fast food places lately. The food and the customer service is way better than Tim's and... McDonald's combined. The people at every location I've visited has been respectful and the food is prepared properly, greattaste and presentation. The gentleman behind the counter is top notch. I stopped here after a meeting in the area. It was a small location but had about 5 tables and a few bar seats. It's really... small and I'm not a fan of big name fast food restaurants having very small locations. The staff tried to get the tables cleanbut as expected it was fairly busy so they were always having to go back to the counter to take orders. The washroom was closedas is most washrooms on Bloor St West. The food was great, the fries were fresh, the burger was good and they had the cooledmugs which some places don't do as much these days. The issue is the customers, either students or the people who live or visitthe area are extremely sloppy and dirty. They will order a bunch of stuff and literally leave the tables full. It happens atother places on Bloor St West too like Popeye's, Starbucks etc ... The staff can't keep up in small location only so many cansafely stay behind the counter, if you want these small locations in your area to need to chip in and make sure you clean AFTERYOURSELF. This is by far the slowest location. I've been here multiple times and they are always taking their time, and there's usually 2... people max working. The food is good but if you're in a rush don't bother. Read more
