I picked up a salad for take out. I started eating it and noticed that the salad leaves had a 'sandy' texture, just horrid! Then... when I went to look in the box to see if some was wrong with the order I noticed a thread from what I guess is a kitchen toweland the salad was in a box that appeared to have already had something else (something with a gravy) in it. I called therestaurant and advised them, spoke to the server who had packaged the salad and she said she'd pass on the message. No one evercontacted me to follow up. Service was good. Friendly. First time I have seen a robot bring food out for the server. Food was tasty. Had the fish and... chips. The only thing I would say is that I would have liked traditional tarter sauce. Atmosphere was good. Definitely would goagain. Read more
Smoked trout (smoked in house!) salad was amazing. As was the service by M&M (thanks ladies!). Great patio for a solo night out... or with friends for a tasty bite and great wine. Read more
The bartender Laura made the most magnificent espresso martini from scratch. We were so amazed by both the presentation and... taste of the drink after learning she came up with the concoction from scratch and making a personal twist to the drink. Would10/10 recommend both the drink and bartender!! Read more
This is my local, and I love it! I don't get over there as often as I'd like, but when I do I enjoy their menu of salads and... upscale comfort classics (duck mac and cheese!) supplemented by an always interesting list of specials and a well-populated barmenu. ???? The tables are laminated with reproductions of classic modern artworks, a nice touch. I never wind up sitting at thebar (more of a booth gal) but it always seems to be busy. And there's patio seating where you can watch the world go by onEglinton. Read more
The bar was fine, the price was a bit overpriced. The portions of nachos were small, even though it was tasty. Personally I just... felt the nachos were too saucy, and there’s not enough cheese. The atmosphere was okay, but some of the servers seemsundertrained. We also found a fly in the beer which was a little bit gross :( btw the robot ???? was super cute tho! Read more
Our office went here after work on a Thursday night and it was an amazing experience. Our server was so much fun and her energy... was contagious. Food tasted great. We ordered drinks, wings, fries, shrimp, calamares, nachos and so much more. It wasn’tbusy, maybe because it was Thursday, but we liked it, it felt as though we had the place for ourselves. What an awesome little gem. We had been here previously for late night drinks one time, and dessert another time. We had never... sat down for dinner. The whole place is amazing. The vibe is warm and comfortable. Think of an upscale pub. Everything clean,and tasteful. The menu was exceptional. They make their own brisket in house, and do specials on Friday night. I opted forBrisket. My girlfriend had the tuna. Both were done perfectly. Service was top notch including table side food delivery bytheir robot. Your kids will love it. Go here now. Read more
