Reviews for Arabesque Cafe in Toronto, ON
Checker out Arabesque Cafe for a light meal. They?re a Middle Eastern (Lebanese/Turkish) cafe run by one man. Service is... friendly and warm. Cute touch with newspapers on the tables, relaxing music and a pet bird chirping in the background. Pricesare extremely reasonable with sandwiches in the $4.50 to $7.50 price range. - Falafel ($4.50) - falafel was a touch dry butcan?t complain too much for the price. - Shish kebab ($7.50) - hommos and the addition of sumac onions was tasty. Solid. -Namoura ($1.50) - not too sweet. The owner threw in two baklava pieces of mini fingers. Nice neighbourhood spot. Read more
Delicious baklava and Bedouin mint tea served by the sweetest man. We first went 4 years ago, remembered our wonderful... experience and returned on another one of our visits to Toronto. So happy this place survived the pandemic unchanged. Read more

Beautiful space, friendly owners, fresh food. It reminds me of back home. What a delightful hidden gem that was. Fantastic.
Lovely little sandwich shop. I really enjoyed my lunches here and I hope to try all of the offerings. So far I've had the... falafel and the ground beef. Very satisfying and very reasonably price! Nothing trendy about it, and I hope it stays likethat! Read more
Second time here and will gladly return many more times. First time I got two types of baklava (both delish but one was a bit... dry) and a cardamon latte. Today I ordered a strong mint tea (comes perfectly sweetened) and a baba ghanoush sandwich to eat inthe park with the complimentary mini baklava. Fresh and tasty and I must note the generous quantity of pickles and the fact thatthere was no onions!! I asked for no olives too, which I think was a mistake on my part as I would have liked a touch more salt. But it didn't take away from my 5 stars! Read more
Stepping inside is almost like being transported to another country. A cozy authentic hidden gem, that has a vibe that melts... away stress. Hakim, the owner/sandwich chef and barista is lovely and friendly. The Arabesque coffee is made with cardamom but abit on the sweet side. Loads of pastries to choose from. Read more
