Food is amazing. Pasta taste so fresh. I see why it's always so busy. Reservations are highly recommended days in advance.... Unfortunately patios don't have heaters so make sure you book indoors otherwise you're out of luck since indoor seating getsfully booked including the bar space. We lucked out with the last spots at the bar. Read more

First time here and loved the food and atmosphere. Got a table for two by the front window. Candles on the window sill and on... our table. Menu is small but concise and there's enough variety for even the most picky eater. We started with the mushroomfritti (special) and burrata. Then had the spaghetti carbonara and paccheri all'amatriciana. We didn't order dessert bc we wereso full but since it was my wife's birthday, they gave us a lemon sorbet to celebrate. Service was excellent! Read more

What an experience!! Since moving to the East end, we have been searching for a great Italian restaurant and we can now say that... THIS IS THE SPOT! We went for my wife's birthday on Aug 8th, 2022 and it was an amazing time. We booked ahead of time, throughOpen Table with ease. When we entered we we're greated by the host and seated very quickly. The place was packed and felt likea great vibe. The kitchen is right by the dining room so you can see how the amazing dishes are created! Our server was Angelaand she needs a special shot out as an example of how service should be. Super attentive and actually refilled our drinkswithout having to ask. Came to check on us countless times and answered any questions we had in regards to the dishes we werehaving. Cleaned our table in between dishes! Angela we can't thank you enough for your service. It was impecabble! We had theArancini (breaded rice and cheese balls) to start with the Carne Crudo (beef tartare) and the Insalate Verde (Arugula Salad)which lead nicely into our lovely meal. For our mains we had the PACCHERI ALL’ AMATRICIANAAl (classic) and AGNOLOTTI DI MAIS(pasta filled with mascarpone and corn pure with a butter sauce) which were both so unbelievably next level!! To finish ouramazing meal we had the Terrimisu Semifredo (deconstructed Terrimisu) which was just bonkers! Every dish was made to perfection,so hats off to the kitchen crew! One thing that we discovered from our server is the fact that they change their menu usingseasonal ingredients. This is one important thing that I find is often overlooked a lot of restos. It's essential to keepthings fresh and interesting and we're super excited to go back and see what new creations they will have in store. Surprisedthe rating here is not 4.9 out of 5 as the food coupled with service and and vibe was near perfect! Thanks again AscariEnoteca, will be seeing you very soon! Read more

Came here on a date night with my partner this week after hearing lots of good things about the food. In the short time we have... been in Toronto, it was hands down one of the best dining (food, wine, service, ambience, vibe) experiences we have had in thecity. The risotto is a must have for risotto-lovers and their special pasta was tasty too! Great wine selection to choose fromto compliment anything you’re having on the menu. They are busy even on Monday nights, make sure to get a reservation in. Bigthank you to the team at Ascari Enoteca, definitely will be back again soon! Read more

Great antipasti here! The pasta was a little salty but overall still good. Server was also very attentive and friendly.

Our server Ken was amazing, and the food was great as well. Not a big menu but they do everything really well. Pasta cooked... perfectly and the carbonara was amazing as was the crudo. My favourite dish was definitely the Brussel sprouts. Good stuff.Small venue but I would definitely recommend and will be back soon! Read more

An absolutely lovely dinner from start to finish (minus the tiramisu but the staff more than made up for it). We had the... carbonara pasta alongside a white Pinot noir ( yes you read that correctly , it’s the same grape without the skin to subtractthe traditional colour) paired with a seafood carpaccio which truly elevated my standards. Just don’t order the tiramisu andyou’ll have a perfect evening. Their patio will be closed for another two months ???? but that’s barely a concern at thatpoint amidst the service , flavours and atmosphere. We look forward to coming here again and creating plenty of memories tocherish ???? Read more

Came here to celebrate girlfriends birthday on a Friday evening. Reservations are hard to make so we got a late dinner spot at... the bar. Busy! Fully packed and felt a little too crowded. I guess that's normal given that it was the first weekend aftercapacity restrictions lifted. Peter at the bar was attentive. Drinks offered were regular Aperitif cocktails but made withcare. Great wine selections. Loved their Chianti. Their aranchini and sausage are excellent. Great sauce with the pastas aswell. Great experience. Read more
