Not sure if they had a bad day but everything was horrible. We got the chicken karage, not sure why, but the batter for it was... very bitter and the chicken had an earthy taste. Either it was really old and/or they mixed in too much baking soda orsomething. Could not finish the chicken and threw it out, tried saving it by re-cooking with sauce. That made it slightlybearable, but still garbage. The sushi was no better. I got worried I needed a covid test to make sure I didn't lose my senseof taste and that was why the sushi was so bland. Even the avocados used in the rolls were rock hard and about as unripe as canbe. Seems like no quality control at this place. Read more
Affordable? Kinda. Good? Definitely not. Convinced all the other 5 star reviews are written by people who think mall sushi is... top tier. I can?t taste any freshness of the fish, salmon or eel. It?s bad sushi. Now my stomach hurts too. Won?t purchaseagain. Read more
Takeout only, I came here almost every day--you won't be sorry for $10 a meal you spend here. A true hidden gem at the base... level of the AURA shopping center food court. Sushi is very freshly made, personal favorite is UBEREATS special?make your ownsets $17.99?which includes 3 sushi rolls(each has 8 pieces). I usually go with black dragon$11.99(eel on dynamite)+spicy tunadragon$10.99(tuna on dynamite)+salmon crazy$10.5(salmon on spicy salmon)or Aura sushi$10.5(tuna on spicy salmon). It?s like50%off!! I ordered via delivery app and I was not disappointed. The quantity of the food was adequate but the quality of the food was... pretty good. The texture of the rolls and the presentations were on point. The most surprising menu was the sweet spicy chicken,which is an appetizer. I was astounded how good it was, and now it is a staple every time I order from here. I will continue toorder from here, as long as the chef doesn?t change. Read more
Fresh and tasty. Good portion size and carefully packed. Maki rolls had just the right balance between rice and filling, unlike... some places that are rice-heavy. Ordered through Uber eats but will order directly from the restaurant in the future for betterpricing. Read more
