Pleasantly surprised by how great the ambiance and food are at Aviv! Look no further if you're in the mood for Mediterranean... eats. I had several dishes including appetizers - grilled octopus salad, kale & quinoa salad, babaganoush (eggplant dip) withpita and hummus with pita; & entrees - salmon, linguini etc. Everything tasted great but I especially recommend the grilledoctopus, babaganoush and salmon dish - the latter being an off menu special. Portions are perfect if you're getting apps beforeentree. I really wish I had room for dessert - they have an in house pastry chef so they're freshly made. I sat with my friendsinside the restaurant but it has a large open front which is appreciated in nice weather. The interior design is very well puttogether - very pink and aesthetic. Service was great and even the owner was kind and super friendly to all the customersincluding my group. This resto is moderately pricey but the food quality is truly worth the splurge. Next time I definitely wantto dine in their back patio and try a dessert. Read more
Cute, nicely decorated, spacious, very clean, very nice service, sadly, food so so, especially the portions were too small. The... plates look cute as they arrange the food and is appealing to the eye yet, not great seasoning either. We won’t go back. Read more
Really nice place for brunch. Lovely ambience, loved our shakshuka and the baba ghanoush. The bread was freshly made, crispy on... the top and soft in the middle. Aviv has great Mediterranean food and a family friendly restaurant with a kids menu. I really enjoyed the double fried fries and... sweet potato fries. They come with a really great aïoli. My sister really liked the brisket but my mom got the same dish andsaid that her’s was dry. My brother-in-law‘s chicken was dry as well. The highlight of the night for me it was the chocolatemousse dessert which I really enjoyed. Service was great as well. Read more
Went here with my girls. Love the vibe and atmosphere. Service were superb and food was fresh and seasoned well. We did family... style so we ordered the fried calamari and baba ganoush for starter. For main course, we ordered the pork ribs, seafood pasta,steak (forgot to take pics), we were stuffed. Also the bartender makes great cocktails. I went with a friend and we remained pleasantly surprised by how lovely the staff and the place are, the back patio is like a... pink garden that reminds me Italy or Spain, the food is genuine and delicious and the portions are biiiiiig!! While in the area for the Garlic Festival we stumbled upon this quaint, well designed, comfortable and cozy restaurant for... brunch. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile with forever friendly staff. The restaurant is brightcheerful and makes for a lovely intimate meal or fun gathering with friends. The menu has a wide variety of items for allpalates. I had the Shashuka and it was delicious. The bread was fresh, the sauce was thick tasty, warmly sooced and served in awrought iron pan that kept it warm until my last bite! I highly recommend. The portions are generous and great value. Maria waswelcoming, very personable and made us feel at home. I will definitely keep Aviv on my go-to spots when I'm in the area.
