The food is sooo fresh, and soo delicious! A little expensive compared to the rest of the Middle Eastern restaurants, but the... portions are amazingly big enough. Wish they could add tabouleh to the platters Read more

This place is ok. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices for reasonably sized portions of food. With an abundance of options on Queen... St, I'd most likely end up going elsewhere next time I'm in the area, but I had a good meal and the lamb was juicy, just like Ihad asked for. Their coleslaw salad, on the other hand, was terrible. Too sour. The mini pita bread was delicious. All 4 werefreshly baked on the spot. My biggest disappointment was a lack of kebab options with chunks of meat - lamb, beef tenderloinand chicken thigh meat. They only have minced lamb and chicken breast. I don't like either of those. The owner of this placeshould raise prices and introduce lamb kebab, beef kebab, and chicken thigh meat kebab to appeal to a wider demographic whoenjoy a proper kebab skewer. Read more

I had ordered a Mama's platter with extra pita bread, sumac fries and a cake made from almond and dates. I really wanted to give... a 5 star rating but was disappointed with a few things **the good things** the dessert cake, spiced rice hummus and sumac frieswere amazing! The quality was really good and taste was simplistic yet effective ???? Let me point out that the falafel was oneof the best I've had in Ontario, a little dry but straight up delicious **the bad things** As you can see in the photos below, the chicken shawarma looks really bland and it tasted worse than it looked. I've been to many gulf countries like Oman, AbuDhabi, Dubai, Iran etc. And let me tell you that this is not authentic chicken shawarma at all! Also I expected freshly bakedpita bread but instead I got a stale one that had fungus growing on it? These 2 things were such a major let down of anotherwise delicious meal that I had to give only 3 stars. Read more

Great food. Probably the best hummus I have tried in toronto yet. Full marks for hygiene and cleanliness.

I really wanted to like Azkadenya but the chicken shwarma quality is simply subpar. It was unfortunately closed to dry grilled... chicken. Other things like falafel, humus and rice all tasted good. But for the price, I would expect nothing less than freshlycut off. Read more
