Second time out of the three times we went there with absolutely terrible food quality. Look how plain this egg kothu roti is.... The chicken kothu was thrown out because it was super soggy with the curry mix and nauseating. Another man at the time was alsoscreaming at them about the food quality and forgetting items. For $55 I got horrible quality and quantity of food. They upped their price on rolls made them shorter and fatter for no reason... reduced amount of meat and added more potatoes. Not worth it at all. $20 for 10. Then order small chicken 65, spicy shrimp,spice fish. The quantity and quality was really not good..salty.. old food and not fresh...and way too salty. Their food has toomuch salt!! The portions were tiny and it costs $10, $9, and $4. Then...chicken biryani that that you should be able to leave ontable for a few hours after bringing home...I came back to eat..and the rice had a sticky film on it that gets stuck inmouth...it was not fresh and spices and masala need work. They have really gone down in taste and quality from their previoussays. 10 years ago....instead of improving quality...cheaper ingredients and not well made.. hoppers horrible here too.dosomething!! I want money back!! This purchase was last night...biryani now smells awful. The rice is gooey!!!..d9 they know tomake biryani? They serve varieties of snacks and Halal food. We liked the mutton biryani. It's spicy. It tasted like another Bangladeshi... cuisine called Agni biriyani. Wonderful. We also tasted crab meat. One of the best Sri Lankan hot food store in southern Ontario. Bread, pastries, sour food, sweets, rice & curries, kottu, small... snacks.... huge variations. Compared to many other south asian take out places, portion size can be smaller but still hugeportion sizes (one portion is enough for two people) During busy time there can be a line up. Tasty and inexpensive and in budget best for breakfast lunch or dinner take outs.. so much crowded they miss to put gravy with... our briyani in takeout other then that it's good food. Please check everything before you takeout. We had breakfast and lunchtake out and there gravy was missing with briyani. Read more
The place was good average. But the food now is way below average. Also the service has got worse. May be lots of new... staff. Even the quality of food has gone down. It was earlier okay to line up. But now, the curries I ordered were way belowaverage. Hope this is temporary set back. Read more
