The reason I’m not giving Bar Sybanne five stars is that there’s no air conditioning! I had an excellent dinner with plenty... of nice vegetarian options and great service, but in this Toronto heatwave it was quite unpleasant with no AC. Warm, humid airwas blowing in from the street with the sun and it made me quite uncomfortable! Overall, the food was delicious (star of themeal was the dip trio and Sybanne Spritz), but considering how hot Toronto gets in the summer I’d recommend investing in acouple of AC units or even some fans (the ceiling fan did nothing) Read more
Amazing experience in this oriental bar/restaurant. The place is clean, beautifully decorated and has a patio. The cocktail menu... was quite original and were prepared in a professional way. The food menu was very appealing, I would definitely recommend thedip sampler (Maple eggplant + hummus) and salmon tartar. Hibiscus rice and fried chicken bites will be my next choice. We drove past the Ossington area to find a good place to stop. As soon as we walked into Bar Sybanne we loved the "Vibe" It... felt fun and cozy at the same time. We took the last table available. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful withchoosing dishes. This place is one of those restaurants that truly deserves the "a find" tag. This are not food dishes you findeverywhere. We ordered the mushrooms, Veggies and chicken skewers. Such great flavors. The food was well paced and we never feltrushed. We loved it so much we told our server to tell the chef how much we loved the food. Howard the owner/chef came out totalk to us a few minutes later. Wow! When I say this is some of the best food I’ve had I mean it. I’ve traveled a lot and always try to eat at restaurants that... have the best food while not completely breaking my wallet. This place had delicious food, from the appetizers to the maincourse I was in heaven. The cocktails were also really delicious and creative. The only downside is it can be very noisy andloud if you go on a busy night. Besides that, I would say this place is a must visit if your in the area. You won’t regret it!I only took one photo cause I was so hungry, but enjoy looking at the fresh truffle pasta! Read more
We had a great night at Bar Sybanne. If Google allowed half points to be taken off i would for the initial hickup we had with... the server. The food was great and I just wish that we were recommended the brussel sprouts cause word on the street is they areamazing. Delicious cocktail (I got the Floating Linda) and amazing food. The portions are actually quite large! I was super surprised.... The dips and brussel leaves were my favourite. Service was also great. Brought us extra pita for the dips and split all theleftovers so both my friend and I could take some home. Read more

Tender, juicy and so flavorful chicken skewers, delicious hummus mix, a yummy cheese grilled in the pan (I don't rememberthe name) and amazing patatas bravas. Even the sprite we ordered was something else! I mean, I think it was actually somethingelse, but wow, so good and refreshing! They don’t have varieties of options on their menus . There food is mediocre. So , If you want overpriced horrible food go to... Bar Sybanne. They want you to pay all this money just for the vibes (example -lowering the light and having candles asaesthetic ) Read more
