Food - Tasty, good portion for the price and healthy. I liked that they put the calories, it help me make a better decision. I... wish there was more options for the veg and the spring mix was out when I was there. However, I was.please with my meal and ittasted how I expected it to be. I also got thr lycee rose green drink, it was refreshing and I would order it again. Service -Quick, friendly and hardworking. They were quite busy. Ambiance- There was plently of seating, clean and comfortable. Overall,if you are looking for a quick bite that won't make feel overstuffed. I would recommend. Read more
Tasty vegan options! I liked the noodles but there was too much of it in terms of noodle/sauce ratio. Generally good for the... price and the curry tofu is really good. Did not like the peanut sauce. Read more
Just finished shopping in Eaton Center, I have decided back to Basil box. Spicy ???? and Tofu on rice x spring rolls this time.... Of course my favorite Thai ice tea is come to this perfect combination too. I feel wonderful this afternoon with good food &lots of sunshine through the windows. First time here. Friendly staff. I had the coconut curry tofu. They build the "box" in layers first the noodles, edamame, sweet... potato, tofu, choice of curry and garnish with sesame seeds,fried onions, cilantro, red Thai chili peppers, peanut... Plentiful vegetarian and vegan options here! I had the vegan curry with noodles, which was just the right level of spicy and... bursting with flavor. The staff were also very good - attentive to packing food safely for take out. Also, Ryerson students geta discount here, so bring your Onecard. Read more
This Basil Box has really caring staff and great attention to your food preparation. I appreciate that it offers a few more than... the Eaton Centre food court's Basil Box. Worth coming over to this location instead! The staff are very accommodating and givesgreat recommendations. They served another customer that has a dietary concern and flagged any available options they could eat.They also offered customizing to their preference and suggested great alternatives. Good healthy choices! They have a lot ofgood custom order option/set up so that you can mix and match. This location offers additional Satay Seasoned Fried Egg (foradditional cost) and #4 Sauce option of Saigon Curry which is not common. I usually get the Chili Lime Shrimp which is prettyspicy and delicious! This location offers sautéed eggplant and charred sweet potatoes which is great as well. Really good valueand carries well! Great Staff & amazing service! I like this branch as you can feel very relaxing and spacious, high ceiling with lots of sunlight... throughout the window. Fantastic location!!!!! When I was thinking about shrimp and steak in a dilemma circumstance to build myown box, but their staff told me that I can do half & half. I really appreciate their attentive, love the shrimp and steak. Theycooked it fresh for me. Well, their spring rolls was really good too with the special source, unfortunately I cannot rememberthe name correctly. It should be something like pineapple. I love their fries too, you can add extra lemongrass chicken on thetop by paying extra. This is what I did on the picture. I shared this with my friends during tea time. This time I gave up myalways favorite Thai ice tea instead of Soda, it's really refreshing. It should be called rose soda or something like this. Read more
