My coworker recently brought in goodies from Black Dog Cafe, and I couldn't help and ask which bakery she got them from. It's... that good. I have tried countless similar items from other places, but I couldn't believe the quality and taste of these bakedgoods. The specially ordered tall Chocolate Fudge Cake won me over on the first bite. It wasn't sweet at all. It was moist.Their Fudge Brownies with nuts and Blondies are also to die for. Since these treats were shared between my coworkers, we cutthem to bite size pieces. So they are smaller than their actual size. love, love, love their ice cream and iced coffee! i had the banana pudding ice cream and it was a little too frozen for my taste... but the flavour was delicious. i?ve also had their pastries, which were fantastic. their iced coffee is the best though since itisn?t too pricey but it doesn?t compromise on flavour. Service was super nice, attentive and quick. Latte was smooth and not bitter. Bought the fritter and earl gray donut. SO... DELICIOUS!! Black Dog has now become one of my fave coffee shops. I only wish they had a patio or larger seating/dine in area. Read more
We usually have coffee with treats here. LOVE their lemon tart, not too sweet - perfect for me. Peach tart is great, as well as... a butter tart. This time we had a special occasion and needed some desserts. The lady was very friendly and helpful, she toldus we can order any cake in advance, choose from good variety of flavors and sizes! We had flourless mousse cake and strawberrycheesecake. Absolutely delicious! And the prices are sweet too :) Amazing service! Read more
