Congrats on the recent 1 year anniversary! I very much enjoyed my meal here and felt the friendship, joy and overall love for... serving great food at Cà Phê Rang. The rice paper rolls were perfect and the accompanying sauce can?t be missed. Pho Tai isalways my go-to and I was satisfied with the broth acting as a great base to customize using all the traditional pho condimentsand ingredients served with it. The dining area has limited seating but overall provides a well lit area to sit and grab a bowlof pho, banh mi and other Vietnamese staples. Thoroughly enjoyed, hope this remains a neighbourhood staple. ???? ????? Read more

It?s unclear to me why this spot only has four stars. It?s a touch pricey relative to what people are used to paying for banh... mi, but I think it?s well worth it. The cold rolls are especially great - the lemongrass pops! The flavours of everything arebright and fresh. I recommend it. Read more

Been here before when it just opened and it was great, although I think it?s very overpriced. This time I got the same order... (brisket banh mi) and it was actually horrible.. the meat was dry and hard you can see it by just looking at it.. it hurt mythroat to swallow it and could not continue eating it after 2 bites? I can't believe owners with pretty good reputations wouldteach their staff to allow that quality to be served. I am so disappointed because I liked this place. Read more

Best Vietnamese dining experience I've had in my life. The chicken wings are a must have, a savoury sweet and spicy religious... experience. Attentive friendly staff make sure you are happy. I don't live in Toronto but I will make an effort to eat hereagain. 11/10???????? Read more

A little on the pricier side however you cannot go wrong here. The brisket Banh Mi with the pho soup for lunch is the perfect... combo that makes you feel full, but not gluttonous. Definitely recommend visiting when in the area. Read more

I?ve been meaning to visit this place for a while but there was always a big line! Happened to stumble upon it empty on a random... Thursday evening. The space is super cute and cozy although a little small. The bathroom is in the back and you have to pass thekitchen in order to get to it which I thought was a lil odd. Anyway we ordered the beef brisket banh mi and the rare beef pho. Iwas very pleasantly surprised with the banh mi, it tasted super fresh and delicious and juicy. It had loads of cilantro but thatwas my fault for not letting my waiter know in advance, but no problem I just picked it out and gave it to my partner. I was alittle disappointed with the pho, it was quite bland. The menu was small and condensed which is great bc sometimes when the menuis too big I have a hard time deciding! Some of the options were a little whack, like the classic cold cuts banh mi had cheesein it?! It felt like some of the menu items were definitely catered to white folks although I?ll give it to them for beingcreative. The halloumi banh mi looked interesting and I think I saw reviews saying it was great so it might be a hit but Ididn?t get to try it (at least this time). The prices were definitely higher than other Vietnamese places but considering theirlocation I understand. Nevertheless, the Vietnamese inside me did jump when I had to pay $16 for a banh mi. I heard great thingsabout some of the other items on the menu, such as the chicken wings but again, we didn?t get to try very much as we both didn?thave a big appetite. Maybe next time! Read more

Mixed feeling. First of all, ambience and service was great: cozy, warm and efficient. The ph? here is cooked Southern style... which is rich, dark and heavily spiced. Every ingredient was good but they did not come together well. The cubed brisket wastender and flavorful but they didnt give the silky experience vs. the traditional slices. Rare beef was amazing but tasted morelike roasted beef put into ph?. The rice noodle was too al dente. Mango shake tasted more like sugar than mango. Price waspretty steep. Read more

Got their $60 deal + Viet Iced Coffee & Mango Milkshake. Can?t express enough how FRESH everything tasted! The price ?seems?... steep, but it?s quite reflective of other restaurants? prices AND I?d actually argue that you get more here than other places.People comparing the Banh Mi price of other joints offering $2.50 for half of what this place offers, aren?t taking into accountthe quality of the food itself. It?s absolutely exceptional. Everything from the rice paper on the spring rolls to the mango inthe milkshake, tastes like it peaked on that day. HUGE TAKEAWAY!! Their wings are TO DIE FOR! I don?t think I?ve had crispieror tastier wings (not pictured; eaten immediately). The tamarind sauce is EXTREMELY unique and FLAVOURFUL! It?s on thesweet-heat side and comes sauced with an additional mayo/chili dip on the side. They can honestly open up a wing shop and it?llEASILY compete AND do better than any competitor out there. Do yourself a favour and get wings EVERY TIME you order! EDIT:Also, be wary of their google rating. Easily misunderstood restaurant. I?d say they?re closer to a 4.5-6 rating than their 4.1.ALBEIT, I still haven?t tried their pho. As it stands, everything else is deserving of a 4.5-6 Read more
