This is a fine dining - food tasting and culinary experience. You will appreciate the decor and ambulance while alongside... terrific service. Food quality matches the expectation you find at other like restaurants and the service might be the best inthe city. You should make a reservation if you’re visiting or planning a late night date! Great place and great service. But you are really just paying for the views. We were unfortunately seated not at the window. So... no views. The food was okay but overall the pricing was way overpriced. Two people came up to $250. Ironically compared to theCN Tower 360 restaurant that was our view, i will 100% recommend that over this one. Same price but better views and betterfood/ quality. I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately the expensive pricing and portion was not up to mystandards. I am truly surprised that this place over booked. One easy suggestion that I can make is let your customers knowthat there is free parking downstairs. I might have giving you a 4 stars instead. Read more

We absolutely loved everything about this. I took my wife here for her birthday and we are both vegans so we tried the vegan... tasting menu. As with all tasting menus, there's some to love and some are more bleh. We were absolutely stunned at howdelicious most of the items were (except the tomato). The soup and risotto were the highlights. Banana peppers really stoodout. The service was excellent and the ambiance & view was amazing and they even had cute little birthday cards at thetable. If you want a seat with a good view, try to book in early around 530. It does suck that they can't hold the "good seats"for a later time period like the sunset. Read more

Great service! Great food! Good ambiance! Our server was amazing! We had a reservation but were not sat at a window seat as... requested, but our server waited till one opened up and moved us over. A little bit pricey of course but well worth it for aspecial evening! The food was amazing but dessert was only mediocre. The cocktails were very interesting and the wine list wasgreat! Read more

I loved my experience here. Came here for our anniversary dinner on our short trip to Toronto. The view and the service was top... of the notch! My husband and I had the tasting menu and it was a lot of food! I was so stuffed but it could be I ate so much onthis whole trip! My reservation was at 7:30pm so I saw the whole sunset over the whole Toronto and the night view. Everythingwas so amazing. Definitely will come back when the next time I’m in town! Read more

I took my girlfriend here for our anniversary last year and it was such an amazing experience. While it is definitely not easy... on the wallet, it was so much fun and each dish was so interesting. The view is also of course incredible. We were afraid thatwe would get two full and not be able to finish the preset courses, but they were very well spaced out and we were comfortablyfull by the end of the meal. My favorite course was definitely the scallop which was absolutely delicious. But the oyster wasalso amazing. My girlfriend enjoyed the desserts the most, especially the tarragon ice cream which was fascinating. The honeycrumble farm cake was also really good. Surprisingly so. The biggest downside was probably the bread, I didn’t think it was upto par with the rest of everything else. Need to be a little bit chillier and more sourdough, but perhaps that’s just my owntaste. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone (who is willing to pay a good amount) looking for an upscale, fun, exciting dining experience. Read more

The big asset of this place is obviously the view. If you can get a table near the windows, it’s beautiful. The service... started a bit slow but ramped up and after ordering, the food arrived promptly. The staff were great, extremely friendly andtook the time to explain the dishes. As for the food: the appetizers were surprisingly good. For mains, my fish was slightlyovercooked, but everything else was decent. For a place that can coast off of its views, not bad at all. I really wanted to give Canoe a higher rating as I was so excited for it, but it just didn't meet the mark for me. For the $165... tasting menu with the wine pairing included with it, the food did not wow me that much. The most unique dish for me was probablythe semi sweet dessert with the Jerusalem artichokes, which was a small bite. The other dishes were good, but not amazing whereI would remember them in the future. The service was also off for me. It may have been that it could've been the first weekendwith full capacity, but it took 4 hours to do the tasting menu, with lots of gaps in between dishes (the last 3 dishes weredessert). And the timing of the wine with the meals after the first two courses were a bit off. Again, it could be the kitchengetting back to the groove of things. Lastly, one of my friends had a slight food irritation, which we notified them of. Theserver at the beginning walked through options and they came up with what would work. One of the courses, she said she'd be ableto eat the specific dish, but when it came to that course the chef provided something else. And when they tried to clear it up,she was given the alternative again and the delivery was very harsh in the sense that she was told something to the effect thatthe chef said you have to eat this. I understand that maybe there was something in there that she maybe didn't know whichwouldn't work, but the delivery of it and how she was told that she had to eat that dish did not come off well. Overall, I wouldsuggest coming for the view, drinks, and appetizers/dessert or maybe the a la carte menu, but maybe hold off on the tastingmenu. Read more
