I don?t like writing bad reviews, but I?ve ordered takeout here multiple times and have always had a negative experience. A few... years back we started trying this place. Twice I ordered rolls from them for takeout and both times the rolls were dry and staletasting, as if they were made a day or two before. Whatever, just stopped ordering from them. Since then, my partner has alwayshad success with their sashimi platters and they?re a good price, so I decided to try again yesterday. The tuna on my rainbowroll was brown and smelly. I couldn?t believe they sent us home with that. The tuna in my partner?s sashimi was also not fresh,as you can see in the pics. We call, and they offer to replace the tuna sashimi with salmon and make another rainbow rollwithout it. We go back, get the replacements, come home. This takeout has now taken an hour out of our day. Now the whitefish onthe roll is smelly and bad? They replaced bad tuna with bad whitefish after all that? So frustrating. Who doesn't want sushi? It's good for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Variety of foods in one order. Very healthy not junk!
My favorite sushi spot for over 10 years! Friendly staff and delicious food. Must trys are Casa sushi roll (torched salmon... ontop), beef tataki, hot and sour soup! The soup is my favorite. And a nice treat is the enoki mushrooms, which they also wrapin beef. Nomnom. They offer take out and many delivery aps. Easy to access on the Danforth. It's not as good as I hoped it would be but maybe it was simply the timing we went at. Maybe since we went near closing time,... the sushi didn't feel as fresh. I would have thought that the Casa Roll (given the fact it's named after the place) would havebeen stellar but the Snow White Roll is definitely their best dish. Good service, average prices. I liked it but it's just thatI have had better sushi for the same price elsewhere so that's why the three stars. Read more
Ordered Casa for take out a couple weeks back. The salmon tasted really good. I was able to make a couple modifications (for a... small fee), which was great. Would order again! Read more
Wonderful sushi spot that is highly underrated. Friendly, quick service and always ready to fill your tea cups. Sushi rolls... from the specialty section looked delicious so we ordered the 'Casa roll' and it was superb. Beef tataki portion is unreal for ala carte. I've been coming here for seven years, and while it's not the most spectacular sushi in the city, its amazing value, diverse... menu and above all SERVICE keeps me coming back. I've been to a couple of other Danforth sushi joints and often deal withindifferent service. Never here! I always feel like an appreciated customer, even with servers who don't know me. You can havea filling lunch for a tenner here, and never feel rushed, pressured or unwanted. And they're a great place for families withsmall children. There are lots of different assortments of sushi as well as how maki is presented, and Casa has been our bread and butter.
