Horrible. I am literally writing this review sitting in the Colaba Junction location on Bathurst. If you’re reading, please do... not bother to drop in here. We ordered 2 thali for dinner and extra nan for our dinner. They offer 3 curry, a nan, raita and pickled onion as written on... their menu. We requested them to switch the third curry with extra serving of curry of our choice which they duly complied butwe weren’t ready for what’s coming. What came was : 1 uncooked roomali roti, 1 small store bought naan and meagre onion andlettuce (not pickled) You can’t contact them since they don’t pick up their phone ever. I am still shocked at level ofunprofessionalism - if you have run out of stuff then call the customers and let them know you are switching their food insteadof sending them restaurant leftovers. At least match the quantity and be respectful to exchange it same value stuff than doingthis cheap trick of bait and switch. Ordered thali which comes with naan, got half rumali roti instead. They expect me to eat the whole thali with a thin half rumali... roti and some rice. Raita was the same quantity as people leave in their plates after eating. Literally four leaves was thesalad. Also, who puts sugar in kadhai chicken? and that too like a dessert. Kadhai chicken is famous for its spices, and theseguys have made a **** out of it, neither curry nor dessert, same as Rachel's English trifle in 'Friends'. I went to the bathurst and nassau street location yesterday. On the colaba junction website it clearly says the restaurant... closes at 9:45 pm. I reached the the restaurant at 8:20 pm and by the time we ordered our food it was 8:26 pm. We had the worstcustomer service when the girl at the cash (who refused to give her name) told us we had to eat and leave the restaurant by8:45. The reason being they had to clean the restaurant and they wanted to close by 9:40. This girl was extremely rude and didntreally care when I asked her if she wanted me to finish 8 dishes we ordered in 10 minutes. She just shrugged her shoulders anddidn't really care about good customer service. @ArunNath, @ajnhospitality I would suggest you look into the staff you hire ortrain them in good customer service. Also if you want to close the restaurant at 8:45 don't you think the accurate time shouldbe on your website. This incident occurred on Sunday may 29th at 8:20 pm at the Bathurst location. One of the worst experiences ever!!!!! Order Pav bhaji, tawa pulao and vada pav, and felt like they just ended up giving us left... overs. Pav bhaji was stinking, vada from the vada pav was ice cold. Tava pulav had rice that was sticky and pretty sure they premake the pulao and keep it in the refrigerator and just heat it up before packing it even the green chilli which they gave withthe pulao was rotten. The only fresh and good thing we had was the pav for pav bhaji. Rest all of it ended up in garbage. Nevervisiting or ordering for here again not recommending it to anyone. We tried their veg thali last week and I must say their quantity is great and fulfilling. They have a variety of appetizers and... curry options to choose from with no compromise on the quality and taste of the food. Would definitely recommend to try thisplace if you coming/live around Nassau and Bathrust. Read more
Pathetic food and customer service. I should have read the reviews beforehand. Even the street food in colaba is top notch... compared to this food. Management needs to buckle up with their service and food. Read more
