Great spot, not just for sushi. You can get a variety of Asian Cuisine here. From Ramen to Poké bowl and even general tao... chicken. Definitely a go to spot in the Junction. Thanks guys, keep it up. Read more
Don’t bother going here , bad service and food mediocre . Best to go to another sushi place . Horrible experience - Lady comes... up to us asking if we want the bill when my friend and I are still not done at the table ! Also got served the driest deep frychicken with no sauce - when we asked for spicy mayo sauce - they end up charging $1 for spicy mayo sauce and $1 for Siarachasauce in a small little dipping dish. We love sushi, so it was nice to try D&Y for the first time a few weeks ago. The location is easy to get to by car, walking or... transit - there is street parking as well as a few Green P lots within a few blocks. The restaurant is a good size for thearea, and is clean and well-decorated. Staff are friendly and the menu has a great selection. Of course, the most importantpart is how the food tastes - and believe me, it is great! Every dish was tasty and the presentation was top-notch. We orderedone of the large sushi and sashimi boats and it didn't disappoint! We all enjoyed our meals, and the chefs and servers at D&Ywere very attentive to our needs (one of our friends had a food allergy). We are definitely looking forward to going back! Read more
Just moved back to the area and was craving some vegan sushi. I am steps away from this WONDERFUL restaurant and I am so excited... ! As a vegan, It can still be tough finding options ordering out and this place had endless options and were very understandingof everything I asked. The food I ordered was incredible, ready fresh and fast, tasted so good, looked good, was very reasonablypriced and was not greasy at all. I will DEFINITELY be ordering from here weekly ! AMAZING!!!!!! Best sushi in the west end! I have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The owners and servers are... very friendly and always go the extra mile to meet our needs. The food is always delicious, freshly prepared with attention tonot only taste, but presentation. The portions are generous, yet just the right amount. Great value for your buck! After a yearand half of takeout, it has been so nice to finally be able eat indoors and see everyone smiles face (or eyes). It feels likecoming after being away for so long. There's so much to choose from on the menu, I had a hard time making a choice, but I was happy with my order! Menu prices were... decent and the service was good. Loved the atmosphere. I'd definitely go back again! Read more
