Love coming here with my husband. We decided to bring our three year old who has lots of experience going to coffee shops. She... was putting her dirty dishes away at the end of our time in the bin, and the staff got up in arms because the plates were newand expensive. Word of caution if you think of bringing your kids? not very family friendly. More for upscale adults on a Sundaymorning who have their headphones in and don?t want to talk to anyone. ???????? Why is Dark Horse great? 1. Lots of seating 2. Strong, non-time limited wifi 3. Amazing tunes everytime (today is pure 80s and... yacht rock, absolutely loving it) 4. Great rewards program where I feel like I'm constantly getting $1 off my drinks 5. Friendlystaff (but not *too* friendly ya know?) 6. Just overall warm happy vibes Perfect place to come and do studying / work /whatever you got going on. I never have a bad day if I've made a stop here :) Read more

Espresso was horrible. Very dark roast. But there are also cocktails and sandwiches, so maybe something else is good.

Most of the people who work here are kind and nice to talk to. The coffee is fine. What really keeps me coming back is the Dear... Grain bread, it's by far the best bread I've ever had in the city - leagues better than blackbird across the street. Nice vibeinside and cool selection of slightly pricier-than-elsewhere natural wines. Read more
