We have been dining here for many years. Those days are now over. Ever since Covid, this restaurant has gone steadily... downhill. On our most recent visit we were sat, it took over 15 minutes to get a server to take our order and when they did,they told us it would take one hour to prepare our food. One hour hamburgers? We left. The previous 2 times we went toDeSotos were also terrible service experiences with long waits for service and food. Came in for brunch and cocktails. We got the mushroom Swiss burger, frittata, caesar, and a margarita. The drinks were great,... although a little overpriced for brunch, and the food was decent (burger was a bit over cooked and the frittata was a littleoily). We weren't supposed to dine in here but so glad we did! The food were delicious and well seasoned. I ordered their penne a la... vodka while my partner had ribs. The pasta was so creamy and the portion was huge. I only managed to eat half. I also had someof the ribs and they were so good and tender! The server was really friendly and kind. Kids menu has generous portions of: chicken fingers, cheese pizza, or penne pasta. Hot spot for families. Grown-up food also... excellent. The wild boar burger is succulent and surprisingly solid for something so tender. The chicken tenders were supermoist. Fries thin-cut and super yummy. Chicken wings not greasy?superior. I loved this place. We went for brunch. They have a small menu for brunch, which kinda put my partner off at first. But I... convinced him to give it a try. He tried the burger and I tried the frittata. Omg they were both so delicious. Service wasawesome. I loved their Moscow mule. I will definitely be back for both dinner and brunch. Wound up here when another patio said they were full. Glad we did. The Italian food was amazing. Good prices, but alcoholic... beverages are a bit on the expensive side. Would recommend. Staff was friendly and attentive. Chill atmosphere. Read more
For the first time my partner and I had dinner . He ordered the ribs with fries and I had a caesar salad with the grilled... calamari. His dish was cold, fries must have sat for a while and the ribs were dry, hard to swallow. My calamari was good, verytasty but my Caesar salad was room temperature and wilted. The beer we had was not cold. We did not complain, just made the bestit. Too bad ...we were hoping we found a great little neighborhood place for our dinner nights out. For sure we will not return.
